  1. he shouldn't have, that year it should have been Mac 100%
  2. I'll be curious to see how long it keeps up but Hall has looked rejuvenated with Carolina so far after getting put on a line with Svechnikov.
  3. probably not, though they'll probably try to talk him down to 13 if possible. Canes have 30M projected to be open next season if the projections for next season are correct though without a ton needing to be signed/acquired if they retain Rants. Goalie, an RHD to replace Burns (who's been shit this year), and a couple 3rd-4th line holes. Easily doable with the 16M that would be left over.
  4. should, we have Orlov coming off the books this summer and are replacing him with Nikishin. With the cap going up we should be able to meet his contract demands. Also will be curious to see if he's still demanding as much to play with his pal Aho.
  5. also had Hurricanes-Lightning postponed earlier this year due to a hurricane. Pretty sure the trifecta this year would be Avs/Jets being postponed due to a snowstorm at whichever airport.
  6. These matchups always feel more like a knife fight than a basketball game. Even post-Huggins. At least the Jerry West era throwbacks looked good.
  7. short bench and foul trouble made things REAL interesting in Boulder yesterday but WVU held on. Small keeps playing himself into the PotY conversation.
  8. I still can't believe we actually won down 2 of our 3 best players AT KU.
  9. I think our current RB, Jahiem White, could thrive under his system in all honesty. Our biggest problem this past season was the defense and Rich ain't exactly a defensive guru.
  10. Money talks. Not the biggest fan of this move but if he can actually bring some excitement back to the program I'll be quick to forgive.
  11. I'd be pleasantly surprised if this is the case, not saying it's not but the last couple power conference OC to HC moves we made turned out pretty good for the program even if the last one was kindof a choad that looked like Big Ern McCracken Jimbo's semi-realistic. Saban is the usual idiots being purely delusional. Chadwell is already being paid like a (lower tier) power conference HC with a much easier path to the playoff, can't see the admin paying up what's needed for him to jump (north of 7 per IMO). It'll be close to another half decade before I show up at another home game if it's Odom. You don't fire Neal Brown just to replace him with essentially a carbon copy and hope the fans will put up with it. I've also heard Dan Mullen floated but don't think he'd make the jump, especially if Wisconsin opens up as expected, and obviously Rich Rod is out there but after the way he left, just no IMO.
  12. let's be real, this move should have been made 2 years ago. Nicest coach ever but guy just can't seem to cut it at the power conference level.
  13. The Boston duo and Rob Blake are probably the two biggest examples of this right now. Hell I'd argue what Blake did to the Kings in the middle of their rebuild is somehow worse since Boston has at least been good from a competitive standpoint for a while until seemingly this year.
  14. Sounds like Monty might be out, rumor is Sacco will be taking over.
