  1. Watching the USC-Stanford highlights from yesterday that ain't something we can depend on. Caleb Williams, Jordan Addison, & Mario Williams in Lincoln Riley's offense is gonna be a problem for the Pac-12.
  2. I look at Greathouse as a back-up option to Duce Robinson. Looking at Greathouse Size-wise, it's obvious he's gonna outgrow the WR position once he's in a college strength & conditioning.
  3. Hmmm... So 247 has Markis Deal as a high 4-star recruit as a DL prospect?! That's interesting becuz IT/On3 has always considered him a high 4-star recruit as an OL prospect, but a low 4-star recruit at best as DL prospect.
  4. I just reread the write-up that Hudson Standish did on Kyle Parker back in January: https://www.on3.com/teams/texas-longhorns/news/texas-extends-offer-to-2023-lucas-lovejoy-wr-kyle-parker/ On3 profile scouting report: Parker also ran a 10.89 100-meter track time in the spring. If Jalen Hale commits elsewhere, Parker seems like a high-floor slot WR prospect that's a no-brainer take if UT can flip him.
  5. I've always understood that 4.40 (or as close you can get to it) is the 40-yard time you wanna see when it comes to WR & CB prospects. But what is the ideal 100-meter time for the WR & CB prospects? Before this year, I never paid attention to track times for football players because I looked as the 40-yard dash as the gold standard for testing staright-line speed. But I've realized it's much easier to find track times for high football recruits than for accurate 40-yard times. So I'm now paying attention to track times.
  6. So I'm guessing Niblett's junior season stats on his 247 page are inaccurate because his 247 page says he had like only 292 receiving yards.
  7. Sounds like their opponent was running a lot of quick passing game.
  8. Some of these weights gotta be off. 207lb & 202lb is light for 6-2 college QBs. Worthy only weighs 164lb?
  9. Anybody think our safeties are too light to play the box/strong safety?
  10. It was obvious that Cain is gonna start at X WR in 3 (or more) WR sets. I don't why some folks kept pushing the idea that Milton would start.
  11. Yeah, I don't disagree with you at all. Starting Cain or Hall at X WR comes down to what do you want at the outside WR opposite of Worthy. Do you want a more dependable jump ball & RedZone target possession WR OR another deep threat WR that has the potential to scare defenses but has inferior ball skills & route running?
  12. Context from his Twitter timeline: He thinks that UT has such a a talent advantage over the rest of the Big 12, if UT doesn't make the Big 12 title game this season that Sark should be on the hot seat. Which is why he's disappointed with the UT W-L record predictions of the IT staff. Even if UT goes 9-3 in the regular season that doesn't guarantee they'll make the Big 12 title game.
  13. LOL, That was a typo. I meant 1st & 2nd year players. Prominent UT fan on Twitter whose tweet I posted. He's often in those UT football discussion Twitter spaces.
  14. Some of the UT fans on Twitter are delusional. This Ceddy dude & that Tarik dude expectations are conference title games. Ceddy is ranting that Sark should be on the hot seat if UT goes 8-4. Gotta question how long these dudes been watching UT/CFB, because if you've watched UT football the last 12 seasons you know that UT teams depending heavily on 1st & 2nd team players ain't sniffing conference titles.
  15. Yeah obviously Agiye Hall has a higher ceiling than Casey Cain. But as of right now, Casey Cain has superior ball skills & is a better route runner, so how much better can Hall be than Cain? Either way, they play different WR positions. Cain is an X WR, while Hall played Z WR behind Worthy.
  16. Anybody listen to this week's episode of the Horns247 Longhorn Blitz podcast? Rod Babers & Jeff Howe seemed pretty excited about Sark in the episode. @LTtxfan
  17. Here we go, Jabba the Ketch stirring shit up again:
