  1. Dude it’s Ohio, of course they have a Kroger. Kroger is HQ’ed in Cincinnati. Toledo probably has a Meijer too which rule.
  2. But I mean, wouldn't you assume the D Coordinator role is Kris Richard's to lose? Maybe he lost it with the secondary play this year? I remember the first month of the season hearing how he is a flight risk to be a head coach next year and then nothing. Forgot he was actually a D-coordinator with Seattle and is just a Defensive backs coach in Dallas.
  3. What happened to the stock/name/reputation of a one, Kris Richard? Is it because he prounces his last name all gay like? Serious question though because it didn't seem like anyone came-a-calling for him to interview this offseason and he didn't get the Dcordinatior gig? Yikes.
  4. Where did he go? I heard Ben and Skin left too? Haven't been in the metroplex for a while but I liked listening to DFW sports radio stations and thought they were much better than Austin (ESPN).
  5. Thanks, I hadn't thought of that. Just saw that the Apple Watch 5's are 44mm and those don't seem too crazy on folks...
  6. Idk man, that gulf edition is nice and awesome and all but it’s humongous for my tastes. I like a bit more subtlety I guess. I’m not into the big watch trend of the aughts and teens I guess. Thanks for sharing, even if it confirms my suspicions about my personal hang ups.
  7. I have a 1995 Compaq Presario that looks a lot like the IBM upthread. It only works when plugged in (battery is toast as the guy above me said) but it's equally hilarious to dive through and poke around junior highschool crap that is on it. This is the one: https://www.ebay.com/c/118259215
  8. Interesting. I think S4/HANA migration has a deadline right? Not a ton of companies have done it yet...
  9. https://www.tagheuer.com/en-us/watches/tag-heuer-formula-1-chronograph-43-mm-caz1010-ba0842
  10. won't wear anything above a 44 you mean? Where I am from, a 38 is pretty much the gold standard and anything above that is considered a bit modern. A 40 mm to me seems like the right pitch, but as you said I haven't gotten it or put it on my wrist yet. My wrist isn't a big great fat persons wrist though, it's a fine piano playing wrist. I'll post the pic as soon as possible for you to judge me
  11. What is the best conceal pistol? .380 or sub9? I'm a noob buying my first pistol i should add and just signed up for a CHL course.
  12. Whoa cool thread; have never seen it tucked away in Hobbies Question for you gents: I have an older Rolex Datejust that is 36mm that is indeed a bit small for my taste, but it's a very classic size and it's fine. For my birthday my wife just bought me a Tag Chronograph (hasn't come in yet) and I'm concerned to read the specs that it is a 43mm watch. That seems like a huge jump. Are 43's common? I don't want some huge guido looking diesel watch on my wrist or are my concerns unfounded?
  13. I’m not sure I agree with your police work there Lou! Everything I’ve seen shows a much better QB than Dak and I’m not rolling/trolling/doing a bit (maybe I’m just a football dummy)
  14. So...this was the deep states plan to avoid the much ballyhooed “Q1 2020 slow down/recession”. The one fact of post modern life; War is good for the economy.
  15. Okay final offer: Trade Dak for Sean Payton and Taysom Hill. Landslide value for Cowboys but who knows, people have done dumber!
  16. Let Dak walk and sign Taysom Hill to a cheap deal. Superbowl bound if we do that. That creep can roll.
  17. Was in SD for 10 days a back in Sept. and went here and this is a No for me dawg. Food was weak, scene was weak, service was weak. Did hit up the Salt & Straw, but thought it was going to be better. And hate that people brought their huge dogs into such a small place. I enjoy San Diego as much as the next guy, in short spurts-- I got every year for 10-12 days-- but would never live there. Then again, I'm not a big golfer either...
  18. Yes. Which is the majority of America. We get tricked into thinking our peers and online friends is what it looks like for everyone, extrapolated, but the for the vast of America, it's a politics desert. My family at Thanksgiving had never even heard of Mayor Pete. All they know is Trump and Biden. I don't think a ton of people watch debates, etc. Just look at the voter turnout numbers...which is why B-T has hammered the point, the key to victory is voter turn out. That's the easiest lever to pull to get gains immediately (as opposed to winning over hearts and minds in a war of attrition and bayonatte fighting over politics and root issues for a generation).
  19. Everyone in the family has a weighted blanket since summer. Wondering how to clean them now; I don’t want to use our washer and break it (these things are 20 lbs with beads of glass in them); how are you guys sanitizing them? Neighborhood washateria (yuck)?
  20. Also, my opinion is who cares what a church’s official stance on anything is? A church isn’t an authority (isn’t it said a church is technically when a couple or Christians get together to praise and worship?) and should just be teaching people how to best get into the Bible and read it and apply it?
  21. I don’t think there is any conflict in loving your neighbor and serving your neighbor and also believing in and engaging in a biblical marriage. People can be married according to laws and that’s great if that’s what they desire, but hypothetically a biblical marriage under God’s laws and blessings (what God has joined together, let no man separate, etc.) is a whole different ball of wax and can be true for the two even if a state doesn’t recognize it or you don’t receive the tax implications of marriage.
  22. I honestly didn’t realize that many denominations were so...how do you say...new age and/or woke. I thought complimantarism* was the norm. It’s an interesting debate. I took it as normal that women are not church leaders and that celebrating and endorsing the pride flag was frowned upon. This thread is eye opening for sure even for us non-UMC folk. *Complementarianism is a theological view in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, that men and women have different but complementary roles and responsibilities in marriage, family life, and religious leadership. The word "complementary" and its cognates are currently used to denote this view.
  23. Not sure I agree with your police work, Lou. Lots of things give the opposite of your thesis headwind. I won't get into a deeper dive here because a) it's boring and b) nobody would read it anyways, but, here is a bulleted list for why I am betting opposite of you: Upskilling Freedom from apparatchik work to be creative and innovative and be a human being aforementioned innovation Positive gains in mental wellness/mental health
  24. rainbow flags in the church?!? signs and wonders...
