  1. Enough, goddammit. Let's get this XX/XY dust-up back to where it belongs: on FOOTBALL. The litmus test is, is it OK if dudes compete here: (Perhaps it's more of a Rorschach test . . .)
  2. They're like vodka martinis.
  3. What I'm seeing shows him as first-team starter.
  4. As I recall, the Barnett "scandal" was a 70-3 ass-whipping by the 2005 Horns.
  5. For some folks, wisdom and discernment come with age. Clearly, that was the case with DKR.
  6. Next I caught a ride with a gamblers wife She had a brand new laid down Rambler She stopped outside of town Laid the rambler down Said she sure could dig it if I rode her --Delbert McClinton, "B-Movie Boxcar Blues"
  7. Looks like Jacob Nighthorse. Don't know which way that cuts . . .
  8. Yeah, let's put it on the staff and not blame Foster for being a Charlie Strong clone. Good thing they didn't ask him what zip code he lived in or what his QB's first name is.
  9. Aggy'll say, "They cheated. Look close at that picture; they used shipping pallets. We kill people the hard way, with improperly based, unstable logs."
  10. Dude, you're dissing circus peanuts. Yeah, they're shitty, but not even they're Stephen A. Smith bad. What a dick. (Him, not you.)
  11. Chester A. Burnett says hey. And besides, they're warm in the winter and shade in the summer.
  12. Downton Bratton Abbey
  13. Amen, brother.
  14. "Darrell will do anything for you," said (Larry) Gatlin. "He drove me to rehab in December 1984 and saved my life." Good job, Coach.
  15. "I'll believe it when I see it, and I haven't seen it yet. Don't mind me, just keep on talkin', I'm just lookin' for my hat." --Charles Hardin Holley's bass player
  16. "And that's the way it is, Friday, March 6th, 1981." (Cronkite's sign-off on his final broadcast as CBS anchor.) Cool story, bro.
  17. Where's Walter Cronkite when you need him?
  18. I guess this is accurate. It was on his Twitter feed: @GSwaim I haven't advertised this, but 57 years after doctors in Columbus, Ohio told my parents that I probably wouldn't live to 20, they apparently were only off by 41-plus years. I'm going into hospice soon, but really don't know exactly how long I have...so will compete until the day I go home. I'm now on a ventilator 23-plus hours daily in bed (why I have so much time to post on social media and watch sports ), but very comfortable at this point and enjoying my family.
  19. Yeah, once a year sounds about right.
  20. Yeah, doesn't help that their model looks like he was shot at and missed, and shit at and hit.
