  1. In regards to Mookie, it appears that the Bucknuts in Ohio have secured his recruitment. They seem to really be holding their own under Day in this transition.
  2. Sounds like Texas received a commitment from 2020 infielder Dylan Campbell. In addition to being first-team all-district shortstop at Strake Jesuit last season, he was first-team all-district running back in football too. From what I heard, he was the best hitter at the recent Area Codes tryouts in Dallas, and is a 6.7runner in the 60-yard dash. Short, quick, powerful swing and good athleticism.
  3. Orange Coast Junior College shortstop Murphy Stehly committed to Texas. As a sophomore this past season, he hit .374/.405/.523.
  4. Good catch. I didn't even notice the name snafu. Both Bryce and Bryson are rumored to be enamored by the Crimson and Cream.
  5. Word is he's been indoctrinated by the burglars. Wonder if this is the coup de grace of his Texas recruitment. We shall see...
  6. Well, if Vernon Jackson can be a running back, then certainly this kid can be one as well.
  7. Texas received a commitment from San Jacinto sophomore infielder Camryn Williams. A switch-hitter, Williams attended Dallas Baptist out of high school before transferring to San Jacinto.
  8. Somebody told me that EJ wrote a note on OB's that Kelee Ringo is finalizing an UOV to Texas in June.
  9. I have not understood this reaction from everyone. The kid is going to Athens because they are having another event that is being attended by a lot of talented recruits. He is not coming to Austin because there is simply nothing really going on right now. However, I am quite certain that he will show up on the Texas campus a few times over the coming months. I am no expert, but I do not believe that he is going to commit this weekend. I also believe this recruitment will play out for another 7 months. If he does commit this weekend, then keep recruiting him anyway until he signs. Is Georgia a threat? You damn right they are. Is Texas a factor in this recruitment? You damn right they are.
  10. You would be surprised at how your fortunes can change when you hire an OL coach away from Oklahoma State. It worked wonders for us.
  11. Is this really a narrative that has enough weight to compel someone to write an article about it? I do not believe it is. I would lean to believing that this is some Zero U negative recruiting garbage, through which they are trying to persuade recruits that the success Texas had last year was just a hiccup in the Burglar universe. Perhaps this narrative is even getting more life because of Super K, and he threw in the token "good news coming this month" for neutrality's sake.
  12. Just more evidence that this president has continued to try to use the Justice Department as a political tool, as well as his own personal law firm. Secondly, what exactly has come from all this investigating, and Republican huffpuffery about the Steele dossier that they themselves initiated and partly funded? Carter Page was doing suspicious things with some suspicious foreign nationals, and found himself in the cross-hairs of surveillance. Trump did not like the consequences. That is the only bottom line.
  13. Still fuckin' that chicken? Lol what a bunch of horse shit.
  14. I think it will look very good, no matter what the names are. It seems we are in good position with a lot of great options. Wash and Naivar are killing it once again this recruiting cycle. Rogers, Crawford, Ringo, Ransom, Alford, Washington, Thompson, Covington, and even the Rodriguez guy from Florida. If I had to guess, I think that we land Rogers, Crawford, Ringo, Washington, Thompson, and maybe Covington for good measure. Alford probably goes to LSU, Rodriguez will hold with Alabama, and Ransom probably goes to Dirt Burglar.
  15. This is a pretty wierd take... Ryan Watts is a middling CB prospect who was about fourth or fifth on our board.
  16. Yeah, definitely. Pickings are slim this year in state, and there are currently only a few coals in the fire OOS. Next year is looking limited in state as well. I have been quite interested in watching what unfolds in regards to LB recruiting.
  17. The word is that it is indeed a final decision, and it is not Texas. I think the writing is on the wall there.
  18. I think you are referring to the offensive lineman that medically retired from Texas a couple years back. I think he might have been a four star as a recruit.
  19. Rafter, or flock, is the correct nomenclature dude... It is important to use correct group names in the recruiting thread. It helps to eliminate confusion.
