  1. I attended Rice undergrad and I can assure you they have no place on this list. Many willing to put out, however. We used to say “the odds are good, but the goods are odd”.
  2. sounds like a jizz jar sesh. Can’t be quick on the draw on prom night.
  3. This offseason may be looked back upon as peak Aggie. They had their honeymoon recruiting year under their new coach, they're still basking in the glow of their Tax Slayer bowl victory over a mediocre ACC team, and they haven't yet notched their 5-6 losses in 2019.
  4. I was actually trying to pronounce this Has to be Say-vee-on Bird-in-turd.
  5. This was my reaction as well. A&M's inferiority complex is on full display in that article.
  6. Degabriel’s first pic is of him unloading toilet paper. Certainly for all the mud holes to be stomped.
  7. Did we just get yet another coach without Polynesian ties?
  8. Just as Vince Young won the Rose Bowl in 2004, and then won the MNC the following year, also in the Rose Bowl.... ...Sam Ehlinger just won the Sugar Bowl at the Mercedes Superdome in New Orleans, LA.....in early 2020 he will complete the prophesy and win the playoff championship, which will be held at....the Mercedes Superdome in New Orleans, LA.
  9. Agreed - I liked Washington's video linked above. Seems to have some very good quick twitch about him. I'm not sure that Euro-step looking hesitation move he kept doing will work in a game, but still he looks like a player.
  10. I chuckled. I went to Rice for undergrad 20 years ago and did some unspeakable things in this place. A true Houston icon.
  11. Yep. He wore his Santa hat, a red shirt and his Santa glasses. He was wearing (too) short khaki shorts with all this. So, yeah, it was obvious.
  12. Not sure what the highlight was for me this year: A) My brother-in-law got engaged, and his soon to be father-in-law is a mall Santa. At first it was kind of cool for my kids to talk to "Santa", but then every restaurant or other outing we had, there was a line of kids and their parents wanting to take pictures with him. Got old quick. B) My other brother-in-law (early 50s, sells animal feed for a living, militant right wing, 3 guns on him at any point in time) shows up Christmas eve completely plastered (however that didn't stop him from driving his family there in his F250), and spent the whole night explaining to everyone why North Shore was able to win the high school football championship because they had the right mix of "athletes" (errr....) and enough latinos to find a good kicker.
  13. It's almost like NS won despite some questionable coaching. The run game wasn't working, yet in the 3rd quarter that's all they tried to do, with very limited success. Then on defense, they knew Jackson wasn't going to pass the ball - should have stacked the box.
  14. Probably the first of at least 2, maybe three straight for NS. Still very young.
  15. What position does Jackson play in college? Receiver?
  16. Wow, NS is getting clobbered by penalties
  17. I haven't watched them too much this year (aside from the Allen game), but this is probably the first game they've matched up against a physically/athletically equal (or superior) team.
  18. What's scary is North Shore's best players are all underclassmen. This could be a 2-3 year run.
  19. After watching both Card and Jackson play yesterday, umm yeah I’d prefer Jackson.
