  1. SlicedBread is a BroBible poster who Jimbo went off on in a press conference, for saying that A&M was paying their players huge money. start watching at 0:23
  2. Highland Park has some of the worst people on the planet. I've lived in HP for 10 years and have never heard a racist comment ever. I know people hate Highland Park because it's a bunch of rich people, but it's not a racist place at all.
  3. Sark at the Dixie Chicken drive through speaker: “yes I’d like to order Evan Stewart, Walter Nolen, Jayvon Thomas and DJ Hicks. And a side of Bryce Anderson.”
  4. Yeah I guess, but the only win Dville has over NS recently is when NS lost their QB and had to use a WR to play QB. So I guess we could play whaddabout, but probably not worth anybody's time. I'm a Highland Park fan, so am looking forward to some juicy 5A, non-Aledo competition in future years!
  5. Well said. He needs to cut his hair and transform his body to ensure everybody knows he’s serious about the game. Maybe also cut out chick fil a.
  6. Who was talking about Duncanville as the team of the decade? They’ve lost three of the last four title games they’ve played in…to the same team each time.
  7. ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 204 9/9: Rarity: 8 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 Play at: https://immaculategrid.com @immaculategrid x @baseball_ref I looked up a couple, so kind of cheating I guess
  8. That district is totally stacked. Summer Creek and CE King are likely going 6A D2 in the playoffs (with NS and Atascocita going 6A D1). Both Summer Creek and King have over 3200 students.
  9. This week at practice: teach Maalik that not every throw has to be an absolute piss missile. Put some touch on the ball ffs
  10. JT Sanders just said "I feel great!"
  11. North Shore is ass gaping undefeated CE King 42-6 in the 4th. I thought King might make it a game, given they have already beaten Allen and Pearland this year. Highland Park and Jesuit in a close one 15-13 in the fourth. I just left that game which is being played at SMU’s stadium.
  12. Nailed it. Reminds me of when we didn’t get RB Zach Evans out of North Shore and instead went to Arizona to grab Bijan. Worked out pretty well.
  13. Galindo’s commentary pisses the shit out of me
  14. His “intelligence to content produced” ratio asymptotically approaches zero and he has the emotional stability of a 9 month old sitting in a poopy diaper. Clear hindrance to A&M
  15. Not sorry at all if already posted
  16. Back over 10+ years ago I was a strategy consultant. We were working at a client site and were given a small conference room for three of us to work in. It was a bit small but workable. One of the guys just came to the US from a foreign country and didn’t wear deodorant. The body odor was off the charts. It was really fucking bad to the point that I had to breathe through my mouth exclusively and not use my nose. After a day of this I made up a new gmail account under a fake name and emailed him a link to some antiperspirant he could buy at Walgreens next to the office, and said “in America we apply this in the morning and wear it every day”. Starting the next day the room smelled just fine. I am pretty sure he suspected it was me who sent him the anonymous email, but the way I see it I did him a massive favor for his life.
  17. They opened Westside high school in the early 2000s and Lee/Wisdom was left with Gulfton/Westchase apartment land. It's crazy that the high school that produced Peter Gardere dropped football about 10 years after he graduated.
  18. That's awesome. As many of you probably know, for a period of time in the early 2000s, they dropped football due to a lack of interest in getting players to play. The students are almost entirely first generation and come from literally all over the world. Very good soccer team. The LA Times featured the school in an article on Houston's diversity a few years ago. How Houston has become the most diverse place in America - Los Angeles Times (latimes.com) I used to play in a basketball league in their gym when I was just out of college and found the place to be fascinating.
