  1. Looking forward to seeing Clark get more carries. I'm also curious about Rickey Stewart, I think we have a lot of talent just sitting on the bench. Of course, we need our OL to improve. Happy Trails, Baxter....... we hardly knew ye
  2. Man NSD used to be EPIC........ Now it's a blip on the radar........I need my fix
  3. My issue with Sark is he is slow to make adjustments, and CLEARLY has his favorite plays that he calls repeatedly throughout a game. I don't EVER have to see another WR screen. He gets predictable. And the better coaches like Day and Smart see it and exploit it. We have the talent to beat anybody. We don't have the coach. I'm hoping he takes the next step in his OWN evolution and wakes up to the fact HE is what is holding this team back

    49-0

It was the Rhett Bomar sack/fumble/TD for me......... I almost nutted on myself on that play I must have watched that replay a million times, just that single play
  5. From watching the spring game, I don't take much away from it. Murphy made the throws available to him. But he really only had to make one read in most of those plays.......We didn't get to see him have to progress thru several reads outside of like two plays. I want to see him in live game action looking off safeties and making throws. I think his upside is huge but I'd like to know how much of the offense he actually knows. I'm staring at the kool-aid in the fridge....... I don't think we've had this much talent and depth in a very looooooong time.
  6. Man I haven't posted here since I used hotnickels as a tag and this was shaggy...... I'm rooting for RT........ but he really never should have gotten the job TBH. He's not one of the top say 50 coaches in the game........those are the caliber of guys we should be targeting. I get that he "earned" this opportunity - but he's REALLY going to have to turn it up a level or two or three..........thousand Good luck to the man
  7. Any thoughts on who we get after this? Johntay Cook? Flip for Owens?
  8. Like I said.......as far as race issues go, this is EASY TO FIX. Nobody is out protesting, or marching, or causing problems in traffic, or shutting down buildings or operations. They simply said they don't want to be forced into singing the song. So let them. Its REALLY not a big deal in the slightest. We have to stop trying to FORCE everyone to do things our way in this country. Everybody loves freedom until folks choose to be free enough NOT to do what you like. Say like standing for the anthem or singing a song they find offensive.
  9. Haven't posted here in years........didn't read most of the thread. But I'll add this.........pretty much every school in the nation, or at least all PWIs, have a racist tradition, or building, or famous alum with a statue, or SOMETHING on campus. How the University and coaches deal with this is the key. I would suggest it's a mistake for Sark to side with donors over players, and that should be fairly obvious. What's not so obvious is that time changes everything........including beloved songs. On the scale of racial issues that have an easy fix, this one is pretty damned simple to resolve. One thing about America....... every time we are on the precipice of positive change, a certain segment of the population recoils and reasserts the fundamental lie of this nation. As a fan, I certainly hope they make the right decision. Boosters come and go. If the team wins and nobody ever sings EOT again they'll be back.
