  1. Ordered myself a Bestop Sunrider just now. Looking forward to that showing up on Thursday. Any of you JT guys know a good soft tonneau cover to check out? Ideally, I'd want one that you can't open without the tailgate being down (aside from just cutting it and all that, of course), but I don't know if that's a thing with the soft ones vs metal.
  2. I liked how some of them had the door that would open for you.
  3. I dunno, at least when it does happen it's quick. Crunch, the end. Probably better than being trapped in a dead submarine laying on the bottom with no real possibility of escape.
  4. Trades this year weren't official until the 17th, so a team could back out any time before that. The possibility that the guy they're trading a bunch of picks for is a rapist and may eventually be going to prison would probably do it, but I suppose they could roll the dice. I'm not sure about NFL policies or player's association..stuff...on that type of thing either though, so there might be something there to void the trade.
  5. This started the day before any NFL trade would have been official.
  6. The Browns "making the playoffs and winning a playoff game more recently than ________" applies to like 18 teams, since it happened last year.
  7. Oh! I couldn't figure out where I knew this dude's name from. There it is. He's that guy.
  8. That kid on the first page built his way faster.
  9. All I've really seen are some tray like things that fit between the seats and are super shallow (like half an inch deep) or bags that hang off the grab bar. There's also an overhead storage console thing, but that obviously won't work for a plugged in phone. I use Android Auto so wireless AA capability for uconnect would instantly solve this, admittedly minor, problem for me. This is interesting, but requires you to run a hotspot on your phone which means you might as well just plug it in since you've got it out already: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/android-4-1-proxy-gateway-for-android-auto.3813163/ Anyhow, that's a nice lookin Jeep you've got there. Makes me want a soft top again with the rear window sections off like that.
  10. Everything they said, except the soft top and tonneau cover parts since I don't have those. Yet. Hey @smuggs and @Bozo_Casanova, what do you do for more storage in the front seat? Right now all I've gotten is a little tray to go in the center console, but I kinda don't have anywhere to put my phone. There's a slot between the cup holders, but the wife and I have metal water bottles, so when we both have those with us it results in the screen bouncing off of one or the other on a regular basis...so...not great. My side steps will be here tomorrow, which is nice. Spoilering in case it doesn't auto resize: Side note: Night sight is great. It's a little grainy, sure, but still looks pretty good for how dark it was out there. My driveway lights are all screwed up, but I'm busy buying Jeep stuff again, so that's never getting fixed.
  11. I did a dumb thing and bought an 80th Anniversary Gladiator on Sunday....despite swearing off Jeeps forever after a couple of fucked up JKs ('12 U Sahara and '14 Sport S). It's so fuckin cool. Goddammit.
  12. Vettes are cool, but I'm biased. My old man, a now retired lawyer who bleeds burnt orange, has collected them (although one or two at a time, not like...a car lot or whatever) since I was a little kid. He likes Stingrays (nothing past the 70s) the best, or at least did the last time I talked to him about them.
  13. I might have to go and force my mom to leave her house. 72 years old and no power or water since yesterday morning. I went over there and took her batteries and such to charge her phone, got her some water, moved her car out of the garage so she could have a place to warm up, cleared the snow and ice off her walkway so she could get to it, etc. She really doesn't want to leave but damn she really needs to. Not really sure how I would go about even doing that though.
  14. What are these 1A, 1B, etc, categories? I mean, they appear to be priority levels (or however you want to say it) for getting the shots, but how do you know which one you're in? They just sent everyone an email at my work saying you can go get it if you want. You had to sign up and all that to schedule it, but everyone who did, as far as I know, was able to get one. E: Ah I see here: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/categories-essential-workers.html No patient contact or anything like that for me, but they're "medical laboratories." And there are clinics and shit here too, with people coming and going between the buildings, the VA and University Hospital, etc, so it makes sense that everyone gets it.
  15. First shot gave me a little fever and just the same shoulder soreness everyone else seems to note. No big deal. The second one kinda fucked me up for about a day and a half. Really bad chills the first night and then body aches starting in the morning like someone had spent the previous day kicking my ass. E: Thinking about it, the body aches may have been from spending hours shivering. Like a shitty full body workout that went on way too long.
  16. 2-3 years from now I'll be bitching about how I bought a shitty Madden clone with more teams and microtransactions baked in to everything and played it for 1000 hours.
  17. Maybe Rodgers can bitch about it for a while, then take his team and go get wrecked in a backyard game down the street.
  18. Do hook and ladder plays like that give both the WR a catch+rec yards and the RB a run+rush yards?
  19. Ohio State guy twisting his ankle after the play was done?
