  1. Kuznetsov probably couldn't make it over there without help anyway. It's more of an observation with this one. I really kind of wonder why they didn't do this years ago and get the drydock evolution completed asap. Once the floating dock sank, that is. I guess this may be "asap" with them...
  2. Last I saw they were building a cofferdam type drydock for their shitty carrier instead of raising+repairing or replacing the (formerly) floating dock.
  3. That's probably overkill. Go all the way back to the F-4B or C and it's still a monstrous bomb truck. Need like F-100s at this point. E: @Macanudo's Spads would probably be about the same. Also those have some serious style.
  4. My dad, Vietnam era old man, has one of those Berlin Wall chunks from back when they tore it down. He got that thing, set it on a shelf in his office, and when I was up there visiting one time, told me, basically, about the "fucking Russians" lol I was like 9 or 10.
  5. As far as I can tell, that's basically what Makarovs are made for, so here's hoping. I know as Americans, especially maybe a little older Americans like me (duck and cover in school, air raid sirens, etc), we're basically built to not like Russians, but holy fuck they really went out of their way to make sure that's how everyone feels about them.
  6. I'm sure they would, but then again the more people who can get away from these psychopaths the better.
  7. Hell, they've essentially got a supply line directly from Russia at this point.
  8. Would need to find ammo for a -74 like that somehow though. Wasn't e: (wtf it just submitted) some company moving production here? Would have been Russian though, so I wonder if that will ever go through after this dumpster fire.
  9. Right? Granted, shit definitely happens, and this could have been shit happening, but with how much of a clusterfuck this whole thing has been on the Russian side I'm with you in assuming "poorly maintained."
  10. That's apparently a (poorly maintained) BMP instead of a tank. It was probably also carrying some infantry, although it could have been some weirdo air defense or whatever variant. Dude has other videos showing it after it was knocked out and before he was captured. E: He's also really calm in the other one I've seen, even with blown up body parts around him, his vehicle still smoking behind him, and Ukranian troops nearby. By "nearby," I mean he's recording them with his phone while they're walking by. It's in that Reddit thread.
  11. Hey, winning all the time isn't good for the kids.
  12. Speaking of which, what ever happened with that Harpoon delivery? BS? I've never heard of one being launched from a truck (or something other than a plane or ship/boat of some sort), but that doesn't mean a whole lot.
  13. Expanding on this: This was while the carrier was in the dock, just so we don't miss anything from the incident. That was 3ish years ago now. I don't know if they've managed to raise the drydock yet or not. The carrier itself is a floating tire fire that needs a tug following it around 24/7, so it doesn't *really* matter, but its just a glimpse into their fucktardery.
  14. They took out their own aircraft carrier by sinking the only floating drydock that was large enough to handle it. I'd be willing to bet that shit randomly blowing up over there isn't rare. And also that the Ukranians are helping them along.
  15. Oh cool, start fucking with NATO directly again. Great idea. I thought this would be a clusterfuck, given how previous Russian shit has gone down and the general state of their stuff, but that they'd eventually be able to grind the Ukranians down enough to get favorable terms. Didn't figure on the type of shit filled raging dumpster fire floating down a river of goat piss that the Russians have rolled out here. And they're actively trying to make it *worse* for some bizarre reason.
  16. List doesn't appear to be correct, or is cut off for some reason. The #2 pick is from Michigan and played HS football there. Dude hasn't moved outside of like a 50 mile radius his whole football career now that he was drafted by the Lions.
  17. why are they so far away from the stage
  18. Is the idea here to try to draw as many countries in as possible so they can just kick Russian ass extra hard?
  19. Yeah they weren't (aren't) a bunch of fuckups in general like the Russians, but they sucked at DC for sure. They'd lose that cruiser too. I suppose the argument could be made that after the highly trained combat vets were mostly dead their military was full of dipshits, but that's kind of a different deal I think. They didn't just start out that way. E: Oh maybe the armies of the countries invading Israel in 48 or whenever it was might apply to that. All signs pointed to an asskicking, but didn't happen.
  20. Iraq was talked up a lot before Desert Storm, but they also ran in to a gigantic buzzsaw, so might be hard to tell. They and the Iranians had a helluva war right before that. Might not be "modern," but Italians in WW2 maybe? Austrians and Italians in WW1? They spent like 3 years fighting over one river valley. The Japanese specifically fucking sucked at damage control in WW2, like the Russians do now.
