  1. Hey let me know how you do that - 12ft ladder rarely works these days.
  2. I once had a Hawaiian wife -well she wasn't really my wife and she wasn't Hawaiian - but I liked to dream. She would hand me a Pina Colada in her muumuu as I laid in my hammock watching the crystal blue seas, and she would quietly sing as she swayed her hips gently to the beat of the waves. Reality was a bitch when I'd wake up to Edith screaming at me in our trailer home to get my fat ass off the couch and mow the lawn. But if I stayed asleep, it was beautiful, especially when I kept my hands down my pants.
  3. Looking at his film, he probably needs to be on the Overshown path. Can someone hold on to him for 3 years while he develops? Probably not with his username.
  4. Based on the lyrics, the writer always seemed like a pretentious douche to me. I hope the song was based on reality and his girlfriend left him because she wasn't into pretentious douchebags.
  5. Fuck that. I never laughed so hard until I read the responses.
  6. Cunningham over Stewart. It could be hard to evaluate though because the running back room has so many question marks and there is immediate playing time to be had. In other words, I could see Stewart seeing the field earlier only to disappear as an upperclassman.
  7. I assume Ben's Workshop on Oltorf repairs Mercedes Party Buses.
  8. 8-Year-Old Boy is Killed by Loose Dogs January 15, 2025 by David Jones The peaceful community of DeLand was rocked by a horrifying incident when an 8-year-old boy was fatally mauled by two dogs. The attack took place in the quiet neighborhood near Airport Road and Arabesque Drive, an area unaccustomed to such brutal events. Residents, although reluctant to share their thoughts on camera, voiced their shock at the incident. A long-time resident painted a picture of a chaotic scene, marked by police presence and crime scene tape. The young boy had been playing near a local park when the dogs, identified as a pit bull and a mixed breed, initiated their attack. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, triggering a wave of reactions on social media. Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood addressed the public, describing the event as “a tragedy beyond comprehension.” He encouraged the community to extend their prayers and support to the bereaved family. An eyewitness, who happened to be nearby at the time of the incident, made the initial 911 call and tried to administer CPR to the young victim. Despite these efforts, the boy did not survive his injuries. The sheriff’s office has since apprehended both dogs and is holding them for further investigation. Authorities are working tirelessly to unravel the circumstances leading up to the attack. Sheriff Chitwood is expected to provide more details in an upcoming press conference, aiming to shed light on this tragic event. As the investigation progresses, the community remains anxious, seeking answers and hoping for measures to prevent such tragedies in the future. The neighborhood, typically known for its tranquility, is now wrestling with the harsh reality of the incident. In the coming days, more information is expected as investigators continue their work. The community’s resilience and solidarity will be put to the test as they navigate the aftermath of this devastating loss.
  9. Why would he want his son to blow it?

  11. Zuckerberg says Biden administration pushed Meta 'super hard' to take down vaccine content PUBLISHED FRI, JAN 10 2025 3:42 PM ESTUPDATED FRI, JAN 10 2025 6:24 PM EST Jordan Novet@JORDANNOVET WATCH LIVE KEY POINTS Mark Zuckerberg told Joe Rogan on a podcast that Biden's White House said Meta had to take down posts saying Covid vaccines might have side effects. Zuckerberg said he thought the Covid vaccines were more positive than negative, but that the administration was pushing to take down posts that were true. Since Donald Trump's victory in November, Zuckerberg has made a number of moves and announcements that appear targeted at appeasing the president-elect. In this article META Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg appears at the Meta Connect event in Menlo Park, California, Sept. 25, 2024. David Paul Morris | Bloomberg | Getty Images Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg told Joe Rogan in a podcast published Friday that his company was pressured by the Biden administration to remove content on side effects of Covid vaccines. Early in a conversation that lasted about three hours, Zuckerberg told Rogan that he's generally "pretty pro rolling out vaccines" and that they are "more positive than negative."
  12. According to Brooks (so a direct source), Brooks thought he was going to the Cowboys.
  13. What if only the craziest ones survive?
  14. Our running back room in the spring consists of Tre, Gibson, and if they are early arrivals, Simon and Stewart (who I'm not too impressed with).
  15. Assuming we don't pick up anyone in the next few weeks, who will be our running backs in the spring? Gibson, Tre? Are either of the freshmen backs on campus?
  16. Some of y’all are assuming that a dumbass like Bond can’t be replaced by Lockett or Ffrench. And some of y’all think that Livingston can only sing and dance.
  17. The city of Galveston, formally founded in 1839, had weathered numerous storms, all of which the city survived with ease. In the late 19th century, Galveston was a boomtown with the population increasing from 29,084 people in 1890 to 37,788 people in 1900.[16][17] The city was the fourth largest municipality in terms of population in the state of Texas in 1900, and had among the highest per capita income rates in the U.S. At the time of the 1900 hurricane, the highest point in the city of Galveston was only 8.7 ft (2.7 m) above sea level.[23] The hurricane brought with it a storm surge of over 15 ft (4.6 m) that washed over the entire island.
  18. Losing Barron will hurt but we have equal replacements for Mukuba. Offensive line will be fine. The biggest issue we had this year with the line was we had 1 do everything. 2 drive blockers. And 2 finesse blockers. We should have had a goal line line that could drive block in short yardage.
  19. Different types of seawalls. Those stupid sandbags are suppose to preserve the beach - counterproductive. The jetties are preventing large waves from reaching the island. They work and have prevented the type of destruction that led to almost the complete loss of Galveston. The individual seawalls that protect houses on cliffs and take the brunt of the wave force also work and protect the homes. The California Coastal Commission argument is that they can be unsightly and can impact the environment.
  20. Not really. I think overpopulation is an issue worldwide but is a bigger issue in environmentally questionable areas. However, if a home is already there, I think it is fair to be able to do what is necessary to save it. The state of California already doesn’t allow building on lots that don’t already have water rights - that’s why lots are so cheap on the central coast. I’m good with that. But once a house is already there, that’s a problem. And if they apply that logic to individuals, I think the same logic should be applied to areas of fire damage. It won’t because the state doesn’t care about single individuals but it does care about a block of votes.
  21. You should send your ideas to Galveston officials. Don’t know why those ugly jetties were placed.
