  1. Like you know the fucking first thing about Israel and Israelis. You've never visited. You never spoken to. You have never tried to understand. You know absolutely shit from Shinola despite your self-proclaimed passion and lack of objectivity on the subject.
  2. Shit, Russia has no window for a breakthrough. The best it can hope for is a potential new window after Ukraine blows through the $61 billion.
  3. Since you made up the discussion, you might want to explain yourself. Otherwise, it looks like you are just babbling.
  4. I've jumped purposely from a 12-14ft roof to see how far across the yard I could get. Crazy to see people die instantly from 19ft. Obviously, it depends on how you land and those extra 5ft. make a difference.
  5. Talk about two places that have nothing in common.
  6. Since it showed up on my Microsoft ticker. College Football Analyst Harshly Critical of Texas' Recruiting Tactics (msn.com) College Football Analyst Harshly Critical of Texas' Recruiting Tactics Story by Joey Hickey • 13h • 1 min read College football enthusiasts don't need any ammunition to dislike the Texas Longhorns. They appear to have found it in one recruiting tactic. Video surfaced on social media of Texas recruits walking into a parking lot full of Lamborghinis on the Longhorns' campus. The implication was that players could earn one of their own. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with rewarding players with NIL. It's legal, and with the revenue they generate, it's reasonable. Still, some seem to disagree with how Texas is using NIL. Shannon Terry, CEO of On3 Sports, wasn't a huge fan of the Longhorns' recruiting pitch. He posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, "This needs to leave college sports." There's no issue with whether or not what Texas did was within the rules. The question is probably whether or not it's a healthy, sustainable recruiting pitch. If there is a coach that can manage the chaos within Texas football, however, it's Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian. He's proven it in his short time in Austin. In three years, Sarkisian took a team with one 10-win season since 2009 and transformed them into a College Football Playoff team and Big 12 champion. Next season will reveal the strength or weakness of Texas culture. The team could settle culture concerns with another playoff berth in 2024.
  7. Something baaad happened. I don't think it involved sheep. And we had two verbals before the non-sheep related incident.
  8. With regard to settlers, I would expect that there is a big difference between West Bank and East Jerusalem settlers - and neither group would I likely speak with or even encounter because those areas are dangerous. Also, I wouldn't interact with the religious right as I have nothing in common with them. Who I have spoken with is the mainstream population. There are supposedly 700K settlers out of 7M which is 10% of the population and IMO a fairly sizeable chunk. And you have Russian Jews and Middle Eastern Jews and African Jews who didn't grow up with our values. But most of the population, 22%, is from Western Civilization, especially the US. 2/3rds of the population is Israeli born and those mostly have Western values as well. So, you can imagine that most Israelis wouldn't stand for genocide. Now if things were peaceful that is how things would play out. But with the constant threat of violence, there is a sizeable population who would want to move the Palestinians to Egypt. But your mileage may vary on whether that is genocide.
  9. Israelis and jews would never accept this.
  10. Yeah, I didn't like @FreeHorn's comments. I think the staff is counting on at least one of these guys with Sharma seeming like the most likely.
  11. But, I am now quite the expert on UT football and cheese.
  12. Sounds like something Armybrat would say.
  13. Retrieving hostages alive is really going to disincentivize Israel from doing any deals with Hamas. There isn't any reason to commit to a ceasefire or one of the 2000 Palestinian for 4 hostage type deals being rolled out.
  14. Well, you have the Terry County Heritage Museum and truly, I hear it is lovely this time of year. If you have the means, I highly recommend it.
  15. But we have a firm grasp of chicken fried steak.
  16. In fairness, I posted very early on that the quickest product to market would be a monoclonal against the spike protein using Abgenix/Amgen - Regeneron technology. And coincidentally, a Regeneron Ab was the first to provide a real treatment against Covid. I wish Fauci would have contacted me in January of 2020 and we would have saved a lot of lives. In all seriousness, I considered approaching Amgen as I knew a lot of the old people from Abgenix. But, I’ve been out of the field for a long time so it would have been very difficult for me to get it going. Amgen doesn’t do any infectious disease and the red tape to get them to open the technology would have been daunting and non-conducive to a short timeline.
  17. Oh, come on - there can be only one: Highlander.
  18. Sounds a little racist. Costa Ricans are no more disingenuous than Americans. They are inquisitive MFs though. Pura Vida.
  19. Nah, Houston power will go out again soon and I am fearful that you are due for another month without internet. I would move your ass to Austin ASAP.
  20. Do banks recalculate daily based on when checks are received or is it just a monthly calculation? I assume it is recalculated daily. Also, statements, late payments, and up to the day inquiries and tax info. would be appropriate. Some of the old school publishing software before Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Publisher would have been pretty good for WYSIWYG calculations and layout stuff. But I am sure there is specialized software.
  21. Yeah, both actually - extenuating circumstances and just an example. I need to be vague and the details aren't relevant. I'll have to do that with an attorney, anyway. But, it wouldn't hurt to talk to an attorney now - to get an opinion on whether it makes sense conceptually. And I don't want to speak with friends or family who are knowledgeable because it involves some personal decisions that I don't want out there.
  22. I use to drink G2, but it made me nauseous during heavy exercise - so I failed to see the point. I switched to water and never looked back.
