  1. Good point - I was thinking that it was used for a hot tub. No reason to have one if it is used for a pool cleaner.
  2. Booster pumps are usually cheap. But, in any case, the wetside is probably okay and you just need the motor side. I replaced a 1.5 uprated motor on a Pentair whisperflo used for water features and it was pretty easy. I think $450 instead of a couple thousand for a new pump. The reason I did it is that I haven't found any good repair guys. I hired one company and he told me that since Covid the prices have skyrocketed and that the part itself was going to cost $2000 and then approximately $500 in labor. Fuck that noise. The downside, I have some Intellchem issue that is keeping my saltwater chlorinator from working properly. The online stuff that I have found so far is outdated so I may have to find a repair guy who knows his stuff. That equipment supposedly only lasts a couple years and only controls acid which is easy to keep in range manually and the parts are expensive - acid pump is $500. New pH sensor and ORB sensor are $200. New computer module is $1500. It really is a waste of money.
  3. They are doing everything they can to avoid mass conscription in the largest cities. They were emptying out prisons, so they’ve got some problems. They will run out of minorities and rurals to send off to slaughter at some point. Maybe, maybe not. 1 out of 10 of 48 million is still 4.8M so I suspect there is a pretty big pool to draw from.
  4. It changes the emphasis. You wouldn't say the priapism patient, you would say the person with the dick problem.
  5. Collins probably will. Broughton probably won't.
  6. Related? 10 people shot at Sanford bar, 16-year-old in custody https://www.wesh.com/article/deputies-10-people-shot-outside-sanford-bar-16-year-old-in-custody/60627908
  7. Not me, I'll be looking for ways to stem the violence. There's got to be a way to nip it in the bud.
  8. It seems like this would be obvious - I guess not.
  9. That trade down out of the first and then wasting most of those extra picks to move up a few spots was not good. I like the tOSU pick and the Notre Dame pick. I hate the USC picks and don't think either will stick. The UGA pick is okay but I think a DT would have been a smarter choice. Without that trade out of the first, almost all of the DTs were still on the board.
  10. Seems like a kind of uninspiring draft. Last year we had 2 stars, of course they were early first rounders. This year we have depth - a corner who looks solid but lacks elite speed and will probably end up at nickle. A solid OT prospect that will be a backup to start his career. A TE who is solid but lacks elite athleticism. And a safety who is good in coverage but not very good against the run. Lots of moves in the draft that seemed to lack purpose. FA was very good but we will still need to add solid defensive tackles. So far, it looks like a very good off-season despite questions about the draft.
  11. It seems like a favorite bio topic from undergrad to medical school to dental school - besides an array of effects on the heart, you might see crowded teeth, nearsightedness, flat feet, stretch marks on the hips, and as you mentioned, long fingers and loose joints. The best place to start would be genetic testing to see if you both actually have it.

    2024 NFL DRAFT

I don't remember your wording but I think Sanborn would get picked. Keilan surprised me greatly and I would never have picked him. Good for him, though.
  13. Life can get pretty crazy. I was a 22-year-old guy, pretty well built, muscular but not ripped. We were on spring break at Lake Havasu. At a drinking contest on the beach one day, I met a girl named Kimmi, and she was gorgeous - blonde, tan, ample breasts and attractive legs. Well, one thing led to another and we found ourselves back in her hotel room, going at it pretty hot and heavy. She taught me things I’d never even thought of, and the sex was incredible. Well, 20 years later, I came home, and my wife, who is a former ballerina, was drinking wine and having a good time with a new friend. I started drinking, too, and before you know it, we’re playing a game of Truth or Dare. Maybe we were drunk, I was definitely horny, and watching my wife, a brunette, talking to her friend, a beautiful well-proportioned blonde, and I thought. Well, you all know what I thought. So, I dared her to make out with me. At first she refused, and interestingly my wife got upset, and things became a little awkward. So, my wife's new friend gave me a kiss - nothing romantic more of a gentle kiss on the lips. But, it was really nice, if a little wet. I really don’t know what I was thinking at that point. At that point, my wife leans over and gives me a kiss too, and put her hand high up on my leg. I have got to say, I got a little excited. In the past, my wife was into more of the conventional stuff. This was way outside her comfort zone. I don't know really what happened next. Things got kind of lusty and we went to our bedroom and turned the lights low. It was freaking crazy. The best sex of my life. My wife said the same thing. Just fucking incredible. Did I mention, the girl's name was Kimmi? Similar figure to the girl I messes around with 20 years earlier. Was it the same girl? Did she look me up after all these years? Shit, I don't know what to do next. But, I can't wait for us to get together again.
  14. He'll be pretty good. He has needed to gain weight since high school. He looks for big hits but doesn't wrap up and gets run over some but he has length and athleticism. He is kind of like Watts but plays safety.
  15. I would be more impressed if he played three years in the Pac and allowed no TDs
  16. Can I hope someone takes Ennis Rakestraw Jr before the Texans pick?
  17. You so desperately want to get in on the conversation I'm having with Brisket. We'll invite you to lunch.
  18. wrong - but good research - I got it when trying to spell keffiyeh correctly - directly from google images. I guess even in shit places there can be gold.
  19. That is actually a good question - I don't think I've stated where I stand. Hate rallies when they are a minority are good for free speech. Hate rallies when they are a majority are problematic. You went to the BLM rallies. What if there were rallies that BLdidn'tM? Fine. Now what if those rallies were 20 times larger than the BLM groups? We have a problem. I hate to play the Nazi card, but that has actually happened to jews in the recent past - when my parents were being born and when some of my grandparents were of fight or flight age. So, when there is now a mix of anti-Israel and antisemitic sentiment, is it just the current conflict or is there something deep seeded? It is debatable. So when the jewish fraternities and sororities side with breaking up the rally and preventing some of the shit that is going on around other college campuses while having to increase security at their houses - all I can say is that I'm conflicted. Some of this needs to be nipped in the bud before it sprouts - leaders should be leading. In the absence of that, I'm not sure what is the best way to make change happen. How do you feel if things get out of control around the US? What about around the world? When do you stand up?
  20. LOL, you think I talk about this cloak room shit outside of this board and specifically outside of 4 threads - Arab Spring, Ukraine War, Israel-Hamas, and Palestinian rallies?
