  1. My friend who offered to take me to today’s derby’s seats suck ass. But better than nothing I suppose. IMG_2167.mov
  2. disappointed that he didn't work out. had high hopes for him. silver lining is that it does convey some serious accountability standards within the program. the drop against msu was particularly awful and he's not really seen the field since.

lol, @4th&Five and I both were sitting there looking at the booths desperately trying to find something we could justify to ourselves was worth grabbing just for historical significance and we just couldn't do it. it was so, so bad. and the fucking line of goobers to overpay for all the stupid shit was a mile long. cracked me up. he did a surprising amount of lap steel imo but i suspect that is by design at this point given his age. give him a chance to sit down for a while. crowd in my section was quiet and kept the phone bullshit to a reasonably tolerable level for the most part but there was one drunk dumbfuck that would not stfu until some guy went wilding on him. most of my section was asleep for the second set which was really great for me.
  4. Giving up that 3rd and 10 to shitass Beck from the 10 with Muhammad in rodiculously soft coverage late in the third quarter with all the momentum is going to haunt me for a while. Damnit damnit.
  5. God damnit I cannot fucking believe Carson fucking sorry ass Beck has scoreboard on us. Fucking ridiculous.
  6. ooof, i guess all french people just "look the same" to you, katkid brisket. melanie is not in lupin...you are thinking of another french blond ludvine sagnier. but i am glad you brought that up because it is an excellent psa opportunity. ludvine in the 2003 movie "swimming pool" is absolutely worth a watch for any that have not already. not quite the d'addario episode of true detective but pretty damned close. as a sidenote, your gaffe of mistaken identity makes me recall the molière play "l'ètourdi ou les contretemps" ("the blunderer")...a notable comedy in which mistaken identities and misunderstandings lead to hilarity. some might call it a precursor to the type of humor most enjoy in the american sitcom seinfeld.
  7. she is certainly not doing anything to stop you from continuing to do so today... and to make this appropriately relevant to this thread, laetitia's enduring beauty would probably most be paralleled in french literature by victor hugo's use of Lucrèce Borgia in the play of the same name. while based on historical elements of her life, hugo definitely gives her an enduring and ageless physical beauty that is comparable to laetitia.
  8. uhhh, one? while i love catherine, eva, and especially marion...the oversight of leaving laetitia out is unforgivable. as is nora... and sophie... and brigitte... and this lass isn't so bad when we constantly let her down...
  9. If you guys are trying to lure me back into posting non stop French literature posts, it’s totally working.
  10. two years is a long time to make it through the grapevine. dead and decomposing in his cabin for over a year means the "sorta" in your "sorta keep track of each other" is doing a lot of the lifting. that's fucking wild man, no pun intended. not sure how you haven't turned hunting and ridding the world of meth head squatters into a past time. you know where the bear tracks are, buddy.

So yeah, turns out Dave can still play some guitar. along with the obvious favs of wish you were here, comfortably numb, time, breathe in the air, I most enjoyed the live renditions of sorrow and high hopes a lot. hard to imagine a better venue for this show than the Hollywood Bowl other than maybe @Nuge’s backyard.

Seeing Gilmour for the first time tomorrow night at Hollywood Bowl. cant freaking wait.
  13. it's not just south carolina...it's their entire former eastern division scheduling since they have been in the sec. in 12 years, they have played georgia the same number of times we have in four weeks of sec conference play. the teams from the east they have played by number of times up to this year: south carolina - 10 missouri - 5 florida - 4 vanderbilt - 3 tennessee - 3 kentucky - 1 georgia - 1 and this year, they somehow avoided all of georgia, tennessee, ole miss, and alabama.
  14. only once in 2022. 30-24 in columbia. agros have won all other 8 matchups (all in sec play). they fucking own them. since 2019, other than the loss in 2022, they have crushed them in the other games. average score of 38-10.
  15. Moore has saved our fucking asses repeatedly between MSU, OU, and today. Only person on offense playing at a high level right now and not screwing up. He’s earned a major role in this impotent offense.
  16. i was just going to post that. effectively, now the only thing left for stros to do to complete the lifecycle of surly dumbfuck trump voter that can't defend in the indefensible is to wander into the other areas of the site and complain about what a "cesspool" cr is because one can't simply say stupid shit and not get called on it.
  17. lots of people in this thread need to calm down on a number of levels. it would be good for your well being. if quinn looks timid and like he's got scrambled eggs upstairs playing against ghosts again this week against vandy, then i personally am ready to move on. but along with everyone else in this thread, it's not my call. we all allowed ourselves to be convinced that quinn had made the big jump after the michigan game and got excited. unfortunately, my fear appears to be coming to fruition and that's starting to look like the outlier. hopefully he responds to negativity in a productive way and breaks out of the funk and can get a couple of good, confidence building drives under his belt early. i don't know what you do with him at this point if not. i felt like arch started to really start getting his feet under him in the second half of the miss st. game but hopefully quinn just makes it moot by playing well this weekend.
  18. just in case you aren't being sarcastic...the nets at vandy's stadium thing is not real. that was a poorly created photoshop, albeit hilarious. vandy is not actually putting up nets in front of the stadium visitors' section.
  19. something something claus von stauffenberg something.

    TEXAS QB TALK

i have no doubt that he made a lot of plays out of the pocket in high school. i have also seen him make a few this season. however, there is no doubt whatsoever that in his limited playing time this season, his biggest area of potential improvement is implementing the well-known qb pocket internal pocket clock. he has let that clock run out and just continued to stand there waiting a conspicuous number of times and allowed for sacks as a result even against inferior teams. i believe arch can be extremely good at qb. i actually think he played really well all things considered against msu despite not getting the credit he deserved. that said, he's gotta learn to feel when it is time to bail as he has shown a willingness to hold the ball and put himself at risk of an explosive defensive play way too many times already. not surprising for redshirt freshman. but it's a necessary step to make.
