    TEXAS QB TALK

i have no doubt that he made a lot of plays out of the pocket in high school. i have also seen him make a few this season. however, there is no doubt whatsoever that in his limited playing time this season, his biggest area of potential improvement is implementing the well-known qb pocket internal pocket clock. he has let that clock run out and just continued to stand there waiting a conspicuous number of times and allowed for sacks as a result even against inferior teams. i believe arch can be extremely good at qb. i actually think he played really well all things considered against msu despite not getting the credit he deserved. that said, he's gotta learn to feel when it is time to bail as he has shown a willingness to hold the ball and put himself at risk of an explosive defensive play way too many times already. not surprising for redshirt freshman. but it's a necessary step to make.
  2. hey, quick side note, before you burn through another username, can you run over to ipihb and post some more porn of your wife?
  3. sydney is exactly correct. people like stros think it is not all that conspicuous when they say some unbelievably stupid shit and then when respectfully asked to answer a follow up question, they just ignore it over and over since they have no useful reply that does not entirely betray that they are idiots or awful people. stros said that trump hasn't put any of his political enemies in jail, unlike the left as one of his fundamental bases for his support of trump. to any rational person, that is an utterly idiotic statement that is informed by propaganda consumed from a constant barrage of bullshit. it is not worth anyone's time to engage in an exchange premised on such an obviously stupid thing to say. despite that, sydney has continually followed up in a patient way and while stros has made tens of posts since then, he thinks it is not conspicuous that he is purposefully evading it to anyone with the perception of a child what is going on. yet we should patronizingly entertain this indefensible bullshit as "legitimate discourse" and applaud stros for his unwillingness to actually engage instead of just scattershooting nonsense like "I honestly think Donald Trump loves America, and wants the best for all Americans," "He hasn’t put any of his political enemies in jail, unlike the left," "DEI is the death of America."
  4. i gotta admit, that's a hell of a good troll. well done, vandy. but...

    TEXAS QB TALK

even if quinn had 6 seconds of uninterrupted time, he would be too scared to throw the ball or he would throw it off his back foot, lobbing it so long that it led to a turnover or his wr getting killed.

    TEXAS QB TALK

if anyone is ever able to coach arch to recognize that he is not entitled to 6 seconds of uninterrupted time in a perfect pocket every time he takes a snap, i believe he will be quite good.
  7. all time. felt truly corrupt throughout.
  8. the lack of 7 national championship rings across two teams as a head coach certainly betrays that fact. but that was not my point...my point was that the revelation of national champions routinely not being undefeated has become more the rule than the exception already, well prior to the expansion of the playoff. they playoff simply exacerbates that and even creates the possibility of a 2 loss champion for the first time since lsu's nonsense 2007 championship. since texas's 2005 undefeated national championship, of the 18 national champions, 8 of them were undefeated and 9 of them had one loss, and 1 of them had two losses.
  9. lol, they used fucking capcut to make their big celebration video?
  10. agreed, that was pathetic.
  11. 4 of saban's 6 national champions had a loss. the only two that did not were the cut down covid season (with sark unleashing najee, devonta, and waddle) and the one where garret gilbert turned the ball over a hundred times.
  12. i think it has something to do with billy gibbons not being able to replicate prince's guitar intro to "when doves cry."
  13. i think he was expecting a bit of peacocking from the everton faithful after their epic win over ipswich.
  14. Purely anecdotal but I have early voted at the ymca at 12th and Lamar for the last five cycles and I have always just walked in and voted in fewer than 5 mins. I’ve been standing in line waiting for 45 mins so far and I’m still not to the front. Never been like this.
  15. "throwing items onto the Texas Longhorns field?" come on.
  16. their largest stick would probably be something having to do with conference payouts through violation of agreed to bylaws. suspension and termination are on the table as well. here they are: give them a quick read. 3.1.5 deals with termination if you want to see the nuclear option. 2/3rds vote can terminate membership. https://www.secsports.com/sec-bylaws of course, have fun explaining to disney about that negotiated tv contract that you are terminating texas. obviously this is all dumb and moot. texas is going to deal with this in an appropriate manner not because the sec wants us to...but because it is the appropriate thing to do for the university and the athletic dept.
  17. i can only recall two bottles flying in from a section that was not obviously students. ironically, it was the first one that came from 28/29 over the uga sideline that likely inspired the student section stupidity. but that's the reason this targeted at the students.
  18. he actually did on that play. i am in section 30 and i was locked in on sark when that fucking dipshit of a back judge threw the flag and i nearly flew out of my shoes while the rest of the stadium was cheering on the int return. sark did the exact same thing and it was obvious because everyone else on the sideline started moving towards the south end zone celebrating the pick but sark flew off the sidelines towards the north end zone at the official and i thought he and i were both going to stroke out at the same time. he was fucking pissed and he finally let an official have it.
  19. i am going to need to see quinn ewers do something competent in the context of the game of football again before i am willing to get back to any optimism for the texas offense. i am not even asking for michigan quinn...i would take last year's second half of the season quinn. i have seen him play excellent qb. i know it is possible. i have also seen the 22 tcu quinn, 22 okie state quinn, 22 baylor quinn, 23 wyoming quinn, Q1 23 oklahoma quinn, 24 oklahoma quinn, and 24 georgia quinn. his inconsistent nature is really hurting us right now. come on dude, get it together and go kick some ass. time to give the defense some help.
  20. this is as wrong as your post about derek williams getting hurt not mattering to our defense. Vandy is 8-3-1 against us. South Carolina also has a winning record against us at 1-0 winning 27-21 against us in 1957.
  21. basic instinct came out when i was 12 and going through puberty. i saved up money and bought it on vhs immediately when it came out without my parents knowing. the inside of socks in 12 year old sidis' bedroom are still suffering from ptsd.
