I was driving through East Texas in the early 90's and accidently stopped at a place that only accepted cash. I asked the nice lady at the counter if there was a Pulse machine nearby. She said there may be one in the grocery store across the street. I walked around the grocery store and found it was one of those sit down blood-pressure machines.
Summer work at a maintenance office for the Highway Department. Did everything from flagging, herbicide spraying, sealing road cracks, and trash detail. Dead animal pickups on a Monday were a nightmare. And everyone needs to spend some time at the dump on a warm June day after a brief rain.
At one time wasn't an Achilles tear a career ender? My wife blew hers out years ago and the surgery and rehab were a beast. It really effected her jump cuts and catching swing passes out of the back field.
