  1. Friendship ended with Quentin Now Troy is my best friend
  2. No lie, I actually had a dream that Colt was our OC last night. He'd be a better hire than most, anyway.
  3. Being a Texas fan is a fucking curse
  4. I know a guy who was there firsthand for their meeting in Houston, and Herman actually pulled his pants down and pissed on Harrell's shoes
  5. Is there another failed former Nebraska OC out there on the market?
  6. That move would make me very aligned
  7. I'm sure the nation's top assistants were champing at the bit to go coach at Rutgers
  8. Shit on Vance all you want, but he is an elite Twitter follow
  9. I have absolutely zero specialized medical knowledge, but if his knee had gotten really fucked up, he'd be at the hospital right now, no?
  10. PFT's dog is a better reporter than any Texas service
  11. What did we ever do to deserve Bijan?
  12. Much in the same way that art majors aren't expected to practice mathematics at a high level, football players are recruited to the university for a different skill set. It's not as if admissions simply looks the other way when considering the applications of football players. Perhaps this would be an issue a millennium ago, but the realistic purpose of universities today is to ensure that they educate individuals who will have an opportunity to impact the world positively, with the hope that this improves the university's reputation down the line. Football players have a much greater chance to do so compared to the average student, so why shouldn't the university admit them on a different basis? In addition, this entirely ignores the mental skills necessary to play dominant football at a high level. It's not as if elite safeties, for instance, are simply standing there and waiting for the guy with the ball to run toward them. The extent to which football is a mental game means that these guys, at the very least, must have a high-level understanding of the game to be successful.
  13. Houston Tom feels like a century ago
  14. https://utdonors.thefootballbrainiacs.com/recruiting-updates-chad-lindberg-kelee-ringo/ Who got it
  15. Save that for the 2020 recruiting thread, the road to 1000 is a long one
  16. Seems obvious to me that Aranda's got a hankering for hookers and blow as opposed to gumbo and dilapidated highways
  17. What's a realistic but ambitious page count we can aspire to reach for this thread? 200?
  18. https://insidetexas.com/how-does-jaquinden-jackson-project-into-a-modern-offense/ Who's got this? I wanna read about VY 2.0
  19. How could you write such terrible words?
  20. https://utdonors.thefootballbrainiacs.com/recruiting-update-bijan-robinson-insider-note/ Anything substantive here?

  22. Maybe he'll go the Reggie Hemphill route and head on down to Trinity Valley Community College
  23. I'm likely talking out of my ass, but surely there exists another Joe Brady who's still hiding in the NFL somewhere. I'd much rather Herman go ballsy and roll the dice than hire a known G5 commodity (that's assuming we can't sway a big name)
  24. Is it simply too risky to try to go after an non-OC NFL guy? Maybe there's a bit of recency bias, but is sure seems like Ryan Day and Joe Brady worked out pretty well
