  1. Stanley's for sure.  Skip Ribmasters.  It was pretty weak when it was in Tyler.  I don't think it's improved by moving out toward Bullard.  Roast Social Kitchen (5th St) is owned by the people who own Stanley's  and definitely is worth the trip.  Los Guerros on Vine has good tacos (breakfast or otherwise).  Don Juan's (not the chain) for TexMex (on the Square downtown) and ETX Brewing Company (Broadway and Elm) are worth a visit.  If someone mentions True Vine Brewing, push for ETX.  TVB is not something I'd recommend from a beer standpoint.

I second this. Spent a few weeks for work in Tyler over the last two summers. My mouth is watering thinking about a Cadillac style mother clucker. Roast social kitchen was also very good. ETX was pretty good, especially compared to the canned TVB I had.

  2. Did I miss it in this thread but on aggys last regulation drive, why did they not measure that first down on 4th down and 16 or whatever? At least with the line on TV, it looked like the ball was about a foot short the way the guy landed. Was the line on TV just that far off (I know it's not always accurate)? I was sucked they didn't at least measure it, it looked very clear to me that he was short

    I do not like OU

  3. It's close, but he goes right into standing up with the ball using the grip shown here. I think it's pretty clear he has possession of it, given his movements right after this moment. I have no idea what the announcer is talking about "being down when touching the ball" or whatever. I don't think that's a rule in any form of football.

54 was holding in that video, which is unpossible or the refs would have called it.
  4. I saw the guy in the red shirt congratulating an aggy player on the bench after a score during the game. He’s some sort of staff member.

Are you referencing the person whom in the tweet is said to have a sideline pass?
  5. Birth. Berth. Perth. Been drinking.

And yes, it’s lovely glassware. It makes even my shitty homebrew come up like roses. My batting average and golf swing also improved once I started using it.
