  1. Kinda feels like he will be a secondary thought. I'm sure he won't be, but the trailer looks like the pussycat Dolls got an action movie
  2. ⬆️ Man, I must of missed that episode of Seinfeld
  3. First Update: Kids spoke with lawyer. Lawyer responded that it will take time & lots of it. Record any & all interactions with Biomom or her Reps. Expect welfare visits to their house. Biomom will get checked for worthiness. Heck, even we will get interviewed. Boy will also get interview. So, the ball is rolling
  4. Now we're talking. Good Dad is from Puerto Rico. Perhaps he knows someone that could do us a little favor
  5. Thanks all. She is not up to date with child support, by a long shot. Paid maybe once or twice in 3 years. Dad is a real good guy. Married that loser when he found out about the child. Moved in with his parents so that Grandmother could help. Bio-mom stole from Grandma. Bio-Mom's dad is a Family attorney & was responsible for getting her away from child & Dad. He believes she has "issues". Have meeting with legal eagle soon. They know that bio-mom must sign off or be signed off. They worry about stirring the hornet's nest. She's been AWOL & now they worry that she will try & get back in. Even tough she has no legal rights to visit without supervision. I'll let y'all know how it goes. Again, thanks for the feedback, If you weren't so helpful, I would've posted pic of bio-mom. She has ballooned up 😬
  6. Daughter (Houston area) married a young man with full custody of his son, 4 yrs old at time of wedding. They want her to adopt him. The bio-mother is in Dallas, but rarely attempts contact. For example, she texted the dad once in the last 14 months. Other family members (her dad & sister) have each emailed once in the past year. This has been the norm for the last couple of years. Question: What are the chances for my daughter to adopt her "son"? I'll gladly pay for free advise.
  7. Learned that during Ballroom dancing lessons in Jr. High. Only dance I still remember
  8. Boy, you are kidding. Must have been 15 commercials at the top of the hour
  9. It's hard to be offended if you just ignore positions posted that bother you, & pretend like they don't exist,
  10. VY with my Grandson. Nice & friendly family
  11. While I agree with many of you about how we react to stories like this. Whether it's an old man killed by teens or a citizen killed while in custody of the police, our perception will steer our reaction. Got it. I agree. But, I'd like to know how these teens (& others, of course) got here. I'm a pro-traditional family guy. I believe that many of societies ills are result of a dysfunctional family. I'd like to believe that a traditional family upbringing would produce/develop less negative societal denizens. Some/most might respond, of course that would be better. So, if so, then why aren't we trying to encourage this as a solution? Prepared to duck. Just my 2¢
  12. I've only owned 2 in 22 years. Both were used.
  13. The son bothers me to no end. He makes so many illogical decisions, just to add drama. It's too bizarre to believe. The battling gangs is also a huge stretch. Not a believable storyline, to me. But, the wife likes it. My guess
  14. The problem this season to me was the lack of history on these characters as they were sent out on their own. They tried to fill in during the episodes, but you had to watch closely & sometimes it was ambiguous or confusing. This made their individual plot lines kinda meh.
  15. Fort Bend County here & I did mine 2 weeks ago & still no sign of it. But, I did get my registration sticker. Out of state purchase
  16. Thank you. I'll look it up
  17. You obviously haven't met my dogs. You'd understand
