The only thing all of these Arch takes tells me is that there are too many days between games and not enough need for widgets to be produced.

What else are we supposed to think about while we all are at work?

Either Arch completes 70% of his passes or we need to see Caldwell by 3rd Quarter

    4th down attempts against UTEP

    4th & 4 UTEP 44- Incomplete pass to Wingo

4th & 1 UTEP 22- Gibson first down run, drive ends in TD

4th & 1 UTEP 22 again- Gibson first down run again

4th & 2 UTEP 10 (same drive as above)- Manning missing a wide open Livingstone, INT

4th & 2 UTEP 34- Manning missing wide open Livingstone on post route

The first and the last ones were somewhat in no man's land, which is usually a go for it. Maybe the first one is a punt, but against a team like UTEP, probably not.

If we kick FGs on the two drives featuring the middle 3 attempts, we end up with 6 points vs the 7 we ended up scoring.

I'm not disagreeing with the overall premise of kicking more once we start playing real teams. Just saying none of the 4th down decisions last Saturday were outrageous.

what sucks is arch was in 4th down situations

BECAUSE WE CAN’T RUN THE FUCKING BALL

We are fucked on offense if the defense can drop 8 every play and keep a light box.

I mean that’s really the perplexing thing right? His name was Manning last year and he looked great against shit competition. Why is he struggling against shit competition a year later?

Mississippi State wasn't complete shit competition

But yes, he just looked way different and more confident with everything last year.

At least we can tar and feather anyone suggesting Arch would have won us the big game last year

Nah fuck that he was playing great last year he looks like a different dude this year.

Maybe it’s the receivers, OL, RB differences. Maybe Sark altered the offensive system (unlikely from his coarch camps, but it doesn’t look the same).

We need to see Caldwell next game second half no matter what. See what the fuck we got before SEC play or we are fucked with this year Arch.

All of you are sitting around moping about like someone just shot your dog.

Frankly - I'm fucking tired of it.

This is Texas football. Back to back CFP appearances. Back to back national semifinals. B12 champs 2023. SEC title game 2024. Back to back 12 win seasons (13 last year).

    Thorpe award 2024.

    Outland trophy 2024.

25 NFL draft picks the last two seasons.

Get y'all's fucking shit together and quit being a bunch of bitches. If I have to see one more motherfucker post about 2010 Texas or Garrett Gilbert I'm throwing a damn brick through someone's window.

I am so, deeply sorry that Arch Manning isn't instantly 2019 Joe Burrow. Why don't all of you relax and watch a couple more games before claiming that this team is going 7-5.

These dogs get another warmup and then they all go get to prove themselves.

We are going to fuck Florida's shit up.

We are going to fuck OU's shit up.

Have some fucking faith in what your head coach has shown you and what he has already delivered for this program. The QB is green. They will figure it out. Together. Give them time. Have some God damn faith for once in your life.

THIS IS TEXAS FOOTBALL, GOD DAMMIT.

    200.gif

    Let's fucking ride.

    🤘

We could fire a successful coach that usually works out right?

    right??

    Did she call for violence?

Look, I think what that chick did in that video is distasteful, hurtful, and ignorant.  Like much of what Charlie said.

But it's problematic to think Charlie Kirk was some free speech icon who didn't deserve his fate and to also support this girl getting kicked out school for her free speech response, isn't it?

It’s definitely endorsing violence. But I’m not a lawyer or into the semantics, just telling you why a university would not to allow a student to do that. It wasn’t my opinion on what they should do.

It’s not illegal speech like specific calls to violence but it’s so close to that line for the university to ignore it would be unwise.  I’m sure their legal team reviewed that interaction and said no thanks.

Kelly would have been a home run hire considering his NFL head coaching experience and their previous relationship as DeMeco played for Kelly in Philadelphia.

Yep he’s a little washed up but at least Houston would have a run game

Seat will be hotter than a metal bleacher in July in Houston

    Shouldn’t be though

They played tough today just didn’t spy the QB enough and got out of passing lanes

Offense needs to get a legit backup for Chubb. Keeping stupid Mixon was a big mistake.

I've said there's 3 possibilities in this, bud. I don't have a narrative that suits me. I fully acknowledge this kid could be left, right, or a nihilist. I know you're really hoping he's left which you've repeatedly stated on this thread over and over. Also by the media you consume and love to post on here.

    I'm not hoping for anything.

No gore or anything just reactions the cameraman was up on the balcony behind him

You're basing that on the massive dipshit who ran with WE HAVE A SUSPECT IN CUSTODY of the day of the shooting only to have to rechant. The story is also wrong if they live in the same apartment.

'The note was written before the shooting, it was in the suspect's partner's home,' Patel added.

If it was destroyed, why is the roommate/partner not being charged with obstruction and destroying evidence. Why is that person not charged as an accessory? I'm sorry if I don't fully buy anything that comes out of that incredibly unqualified person's mouth.

It also contradicts this statement by the Governor:

'The roommate was a romantic partner, a male transitioning to female,' Cox said. 'I can say that he has been incredibly cooperative, this partner has been very cooperative, had no idea that this was happening.'

Sure you can pick and choose what you want to believe from the government and media.

When more and more evidence comes out you can keep believing whatever regarded narrative suits you bud
