Every other player running with the ball in the NFL has serious consequences, you either protect yourself or you are tough enough to take the hits. Running backs and wide receivers get regularly smashed and nobody bats an eye. The QB can throw the ball away or dive down or slide well before anyone is going to hit him and they will leave him alone. You run for the first down then at the last instinct you drop your head right in the target zone for a tackler that is just bad technique. Either slide early or dive down. I don’t understand the baseball slide at all. Just put flags on the QB or special jerseys and those guys are 2 below

Sark was masterful last night, my only complaint is he keeps coaching around Quinn instead of just benching him.
