Comparisons with a little wish casting to 05

QB- edge 05. VY was aGod and the best college QB I’ve ever seen. Quinn Ewers is likely to be in NY for the Heisman ceremony and Arfh Manning might be an improvement on him in 25, so it’s not like this years team is hurting there.

    RB- Big edge 05.

WR- Big edge 24. Biggest advantage 24 has.
TE- 05- David Thomas was awesome. We have 2 NFL guys in 24 so we aren’t hurting.
OL- edge 24?  I think we have two first round tackles and I expect every guy on the line to be drafted eventually, but that 05 unit was good and cohesive. It didn’t have anyone as good as Banks, and the NFL prospects are much better for 24. If they play well and up to their talent as a unit this is an advantage, but who knows.

DL- edge 05 but I think we might have 5 draft picks on this DL. If Collins has a great year this unit will be as good as that one and potentially better.

Lb- edge 24. That was the weakest part of 05. Ant Hill is special and I think Gbenda would start ok that team as well.

Secondary- edge 05. That was a truly special special group. This secondary should be pretty good I think- but that might be the best defensive backfield I’ve ever seen.

    specialists- edge 24-

    headsets- edge 24.

    Depth- edge 24.

I would never pick against that 05 team against anyone because of VY. That said- this team is really really good I think.

Will be interesting to do this again at the end of the year.

Well, turns out Michigan is really fucking bad. If we have any serious aspiration of winning a title, a win should be a foregone conclusion against these hapless losers.

Go route to the slow 5’6” white WR on 2nd and 10, since they couldn’t catch the first go route last play

    brillant

Oh a shaggy pony tail too

  4. Goddamn it’s like the Stanford D is giving them something, letting them change the play to take it. And just not adjusting once TCU changes the play to beat the obvious opening.
Their alignment gave up that easy run for a 1st then they brought the house giving the guy a wide open 10 yards corner route.

Fuck Herman but this I think was the blowU game and we were genuinely getting fucked so hard by the refs I understand him crying like a bitch on the sidelines. He should've gone out and get bumped by the ref like Strong

If anyone thinks Tom Herman is anywhere close to the worst coach in history, even just Texas history you simply do not watch a lot of football.

Maybe not worst but god damn he was very frustrating.

He would find something that works then go away from it.

He would slam the QB into the LOS every 3rd and 4th down like a goddamn caveman.

His scheme while at Texas needed a hero runner QB and he fucking just jammed Sam in that role even though Sam wasn't fucking Greg Ward Jr. at all.

Just going to try and slip that in eh?

    lol just saying

They weren't going out there trying to find a the best color commentator. They were trying to find a colored commentator. They got rid of RG3 and had to hire another black dude to replace him. Like if Beth Mowins got hit by lighting like we are all praying for, we would get another terrible woman commentator because they are more obsessed with the color of someone's skin (or whether or not they have a sack) than the content of their character.

I hope he turtle necks the fuck of ESPN and does well, who knows, he may be aight.
