  1. Birmingham Bowl: Georgia Tech vs Vanderbilt - Game Thread
  2. These are hallaca (pronounced ah-yawk-uh) -- a traditional Venezuelan Christmas dish. They are made in a similar fashion to tamales, but don't taste anything like them. They are made by stuffing arena de pan spread on plaintain leaves with a mix of beef, pork, potatoes, carrots, green and red peppers, sweet peppers, onions, garlic, leeks, green onions, raisins, capers, green olives, aceite de achiote, and spices. The stuffing is cooked separately, then allowed to cool before putting it on the arena de pan which has been spread on the plaintain leaves, all of which is then wrapped and tied off to be boiled.
  3. Collins is not the only edge who got held in that game. So while we weren't called for holding all night, they certainly were getting away with a lot of it. While "letting them play" is often lauded as the way to go, I personally think you should call holds and PI's that are obvious and let the ticky tack stuff go as the right way to deal with it. At least we weren't getting jobbed though which could have cost us the game. I don't know if we held any or not in this game and as yet, have been unable to find a the full game posted on youtube. It's odd, because there are normally two or three different ones posted by this time. I also thought there were a number of short ball spots.
  4. I actually would prefer he have Arch play in each game but leave him in for more snaps. Just having him come in for a single snap I think is counterproductive. More snaps gives him an opportunity to get in rhythm and keeps him "warm" for the playoffs in the event he has to actually take the reigns due to an Ewers injury. Delicate balance to strike though. Enough snaps to be productive for Arch, but not so many you take Ewers out of rhythm either. But Sark may feel coming in for a single snap during the red zone is enough for that. Other thought is, Sark absolutely hates revealing too much film to opponents. He may have scripts and packages for Arch he doesn't want seen until it becomes necessary to uncork them.
  5. Rod Babers goes into detail about secondary struggles in this video. I've linked it to start at 15:09 and he finishes around the 25 minute mark. He's about as good as it gets for secondary analysis.
  6. The best way to handle them is for the DL & LB's to play disciplined football. The edges need to contain while the front needs to play sound gap assignments -- press and collapse the pocket. The QB is a good scrambler and of course Skattaboo. Those are the two impact players that could cause issues if the defense comes to play stupid. PK has shown he can scheme for these kinds of threats before, so it shouldn't be a problem.
  7. It's pretty standard to try and put the ball where only the intended receiver can get to it and Ewers usually tries to do that when he's not feeling too much pressure. I've got criticisms of Ewers' play at times, but that pass wasn't one of them. It was beautifully executed by both of them.
  8. In addition to his blazing acceleration, love the beautifully violent, and absolutely unnecessary cross-field block -- cherry on top of the play.
  9. Fuck that fat bag of chewed bubble gum. I hope he has a nervous breakdown when his wife finally cracks becomes his peen is under a fat flab and she throws up a little in her mouth.
  10. Nico is a redshirt freshman too, so he's done well to get them to the playoffs and has the potential to make some real strides.
  11. A mix of coverage busts and some absolute dimes by Klubnik when the coverage has been good.
  12. Great run Blue, but why not keep your head looking forward and just burn rubber?
