  1. And as many snaps as we can get him this season as well.
  2. We'll see. It was the right call for Sark to pull Ewers and put Manning in. But the result showed that he's not a magic bullet and that's not surprising to anyone who isn't a reactionist football neophyte. He's good, and I think his ceiling is higher than Quinn's. Quinn is disappointing because it's his third year. He shouldn't be so susceptible to pressure at this stage. Even acknowledging that the OL didn't do their part tonight, he certainly didn't either. If he could have had maybe one more game to get back into pre-injury form, maybe he could have pulled it off. It shouldn't have taken more than the OU game, but clearly that wasn't enough. But Kirby did what he needed to do in prepping his team for this game. His back was against the wall, and he pulled it off. Have to give him and his team credit.
  3. Cam Williams just completely blew that protection.
  4. Sarkisian is good and has us moving in the right direction. He's not infallible. And also, if Quinn were a better leader and had more moxy, maybe his team and his OL would be more motivated to play better. There's no getting around the force multiplier a good, or a bad QB can be for his team.
  5. Yep. This is why I don't like it when Sark says just play loose and confident. Playing with intensity matters too. Some fire in the belly can give the adrenaline needed to face ferocity with the same. May well need that for Arkansas for instance. Kirby had his guys ready.
  6. If the D allows that kind of rushing yardage, game over. But they aren't the reason for the game. The OL and Ewers failed mostly.
  7. Well, at least he escaped the pocket.
  8. Especially when he's antsy in the pocket.
  9. He's deadly accurate with that throw when he's composed.
  10. As much success as they've had against the secondary, I can understand going for the jugular.
  11. I mean, it's not looking good, but still lots of time.
  12. He felt the heat coming from Gunner's whiffed block. Not saying he shouldn't be more composed, but Gunner was a little slow motioning over and hardly even slowed the end rusher down.
  13. Gunner whiffed the block dammit.
  14. Fowler is clearly biased. I don't see that from Herbstreit.
  15. So you’re saying the corruption caused them to make the call the first time, then it drug on so long they decided it was too obvious and backed down? Seems reasonable. Yeah, I don't think you can say the initial call wasn't just human error in real-time. Things happen fast. The no-calls have favored Georgia overall though. They've got away with a lot of holding by their OL.
  16. Hindsight is 20/20, but I won't deny it was the likely result.
  17. Not necessarily. Definitely tougher. Can't afford anymore time consuming Georgia drives though.
  18. Miss Bijan's hands. Blue is hit and miss with them.
  19. Stiff arm Blue!
  20. Someone must have told the OL to man the fuck up. TEXAS FIGHT!
  21. Davis turned nothing into something there.
  22. Bench fucking Roberson on ST's. Can't block without holding.
  23. How many times has that fuck said we were helped out by penalties with this drive? I guess they aren't supposed to call them on Georgia?
