  1. It was a block. The Sooner lost his footing due to it. Conversely, OU has held a bunch with impunity this game. Shades of Big 12 reffing.
  2. And sooner had both arms on the ball. Just goes to show a direct hit can pop them loose.
  3. At least now the defense has had a chance to rest some and sees offensive production.
  4. And that's the kind of chit you can expect in this game.
  5. At some point, expect some trickeration. That, and maybe turn the QB loose to run more. He has some chops to be wary of there.
  6. Yes sir! Set the edge, collapse the pocket!
  7. He's been like that historically coming off an injury. Plus, he's afraid of fucking up and hesitating because of it. Game rust despite it being his third year. Still, he looks like he's starting to settle in and now we have a lead.
  8. Already been some missed holding calls too. If Quinn shakes his funk loose pretty soon, won't matter.
  9. Has nothing to do with Ewers' feelings. When he gets into his groove, he is the better QB. He just needs to settle in and get it together. Obviously, you can't leave him in there until there is an insurmountable lead. He can't take as long as he did in this game last season.
  10. Too early for that. He can be a slow starter at times though. He needs to get it going soon before a hole is dug though.
  11. As long as Ewers and the offense wake up and smell the coffee now, no big deal. Not surprised at all after a month off for him. Just can't take too long to get into his groove like seasons past.
  12. Michigan has better talent on defense, but I don't think their defensive coordinator is as good as Venables. Definitely need to take care of the football. 3rd year Ewers should be able to do that better than last season, and likewise, not need the better part of a half to get into his groove. I'll go ballistic if Blue or any other back is cavalierly one-handing the ball in heavy traffic and when contact is imminent. OU will be looking to strip at every opportunity. That really goes for the WRs too.
  13. Post-Week 6 AP Top 25 1. Texas (5-0) 2. Ohio State (5-0) 3. Oregon (5-0) 4. Penn State (5-0) 5. Georgia (4-1) 6. Miami (6-0) 7. Alabama (4-1) 8. Tennessee (4-1) 9. Ole Miss (5-1) 10. Clemson (4-1) 11. Iowa State (5-0) 11. Notre Dame (4-1) 13. LSU (4-1) 14. BYU (5-0) 15. Texas A&M (5-1) 16. Utah (4-1) 17. Boise State (4-1) 18. Kansas State (4-1) 18. Indiana (6-0) 18. Oklahoma (4-1) 21. Missouri (4-1) 22. Pitt (5-0) 23. Illinois (4-1) 24. Michigan (4-2) 25. SMU (5-1)
  14. Mizzou defense was atrocious. Their OL was porous at Kyle although Aggy certainly has talent on defense, so not as cut and dried to render that verdict.
  15. They have some familiarity with Fayetteville which they will see again two weeks before Aggy. I don't expect any less atmosphere and jihad from pig, so good primer going in. Will be interesting to see where pig goes from here. Right now at least, they believe. Ole Miss and LSU are the only teams with a pulse they face before us and they get them both at home. Other thought is, teams can improve as the season goes on and little bro might do that. Same can be said for us too. Looking at the remaining schedule, Gator appears to be our easiest opponent left.
