  1. I hope there is truth behind the notion that it was a lingering oblique injury that hampered his play. I've no idea if that is true or not, but it's a plausible explanation for being apprehensive, not fully stepping into throws, playing not to get hurt, etc.
  2. Forgot all about Norton. He was nails. Majors I understand. Good tactician, but needs help against dominant NT's.
  3. Was this English? I’ve had my share of autocorrect errors but I’m not following you here. Regarding Korn, they have some good stuff and some meh. Didn't see these mentioned, but I like Coming Undone, Twisted Transistor and Narcissistic Cannibal.
  4. Yeah, stay away from the crabs. Rumor has it, they are now in the mashed potatoes ...
  5. Goodbye & Goodluck.m4a
  6. Real Ale Brewing - Hill Country Bock, 4.9% Alc. 👎 ... Doesn't do it for me. Your mileage may vary.
  7. In a previous mid-spring practice depth post Vogel projected Cruz as the #2 center instead of Robertson. Perhaps he expects Cruz to eventually displace Robinson or maybe Flood is giving them both run at the 2nd team center. Anyhoo, just keeping tabs.
  8. Real Ale Brewing - Hans Pils, 5.3% Alc. 👍
  9. Maybe he realizes he isn't special, and figures he better cash in before everyone else figures it out.
  10. I knew Tech would be the first listed before I even read it. Joey going for that portal championship
  11. Yuengling - Black & Tan Porter, 4.6% Alc. -- not bad, but I've had better.
  12. Interesting that Daniel Cruz is already considered ahead of Connor Robertson.
  13. @Hayduke's recent posting of District 1's Quad City along with the timely arrival of Real Ale's sampler 6-packs mentioned by @utee94 brings this posting. I was salivating at the sight of that pic of Quad City and thoughts of a Belgian Quadrupel. I must say, it's about damn time one of Real Ale's sampler 6-packs finally showed up. I've had my eyes peeled for quite the while, but only their 12 packs have been here. First world problems ... Real Ale Brewing - Black Quad / Quadrupel Trappist-Inspired Ale, 10.5% Alc. 👍
  14. Ayinger - Altbairisch Dunkel / Authentic Bavarian Dark Lager, 5.0 Alc. 👍
  15. Another of Saint Arnold - Spring Bock, 6.9% Alc. Just a nicely balanced, good beer any time of the year if it were available so.
  16. Weihenstephaner - Original Premium Lager, 5.1% Alc. Thumbs up.
  17. Being the beer thread, this comment hearkens me back to days of yore as a student at Texas. DoubleDave's had a rather impressive selection of brews at their location just north of campus, which I don't recall exactly where it was now. But looking at DoubleDave's locations map, appears to no longer exist. OK, a little more sleuthing reveals it was changed at some point from DoubleDave's Pizzaworks to The Varsity Pizza and Pints, and was closed in April, 2020 per Eater Austin. It was located at 3000 Duval St. I was in Simkins Residence Hall which was changed to Creekside Residence Hall somewhere along the way.
  18. Weltenburger Kloster - Asam Bock, 7.3% Alc. Weltenburg Abbey brewery (Weltenburger Klosterbrauerei) is by some reckonings the oldest monastic brewery in the world, having been in operation since 1050,[2]: 30  although the title is disputed by Weihenstephan Abbey. - Weltenburg Abbey - Wikipedia Malty, tasty, classic. They misspelt Awesome.Thumbs up.
  19. I've not been to Spoetzl Brewery and wouldn't know about the keg. Perhaps someone else here does.
