  1. That's what she said.
  2. The tongue-bathing hype they were doing pre-game was nauseating. I muted it, then promptly switched over to Gator v U.
  3. I'd rather see replays every time so long as ithey don't overlap live plays, as interviews often do. Fuck that.
  4. That's what I'm talking about. Focus on player developement and titles. If Ewers is to have a chance at the Heisman, it will be because he shined against real competition and will sort itself out.
  5. Screw the Heisman. Develop Arch.
  6. Gotta hand it to Colorado State. They're scrappy and a Hell of a lot better tune-up than Temple was for ouSux. Really glad we didn't have a marquis opponent for this first game. We clearly need it.
  7. Not saying he isn't good, but consider the competition. These aren't elite DB's.
  8. Announcer raved about the great coverage. Sure the defender was in position, but didn't turn his head around or put his hands out. Where else could Golden go from there? Tracking a receiver is only half the job as well we know.
  9. These announcers are ass.
  10. If he's hurting and it's causing the mental mistakes, then he needs to go sit down. If true, he should never have even came into the game.
  11. Well, the good news is, we're no longer reliant upon "sources" or 995 pumped sunshine. We can see it with our own eyes.
  12. I feel pretty good about the defense actually. Sark & Co addressed the needs well enough in the portal that a good rotation of bodies should yield steady, if not stellar performance. I expect great play from Alfred Collins and probably good performance from Norton, Lole, and Savea along with the rest of the interior DL roster. They will rotate interior bodies. They don't have to collapse the pocket really, if they can plug their gaps and hold, our stellar stable (emphasis added) of Edges and LB's can take care of the rest. And there is also Nance's effect to consider. He should add some disruptive wrinkles to the defense. Reports from practice were that some of his alignments caused issues for the OL at times. Pressure is more likely to come from the Edges this season and I'd expect AC to also add to that occasionally up the middle. He's so fast and athletic off the ball, he will be disruptive in his contract year. The secondary has been talked up a good bit too, and while I'm hopeful, it's also kool-aid season. Hope they really take a step forward this season with their technique and playing the ball. Improved pressure off the Edges should help them.
  13. Jerrick Gibson may well surprise if what's being said by OTF is true. Apparently, he is supposed to be the best in pass protection and he is ahead of the curve in physical development compared to most freshmen RBs. Still, a lack of seasoning at the collegiate level and familiarity with the playbook is reason enough to be concerned. IMO, Michigan's front was going to be challenging to run against even with Baxter in the fold though. Sark needs to have the team in the right frame of mind for that game. Going to be a gritty dogfight in the trenches. That and Tashard Choice needs to hammer home ball protection to the RB's. That's one aspect of coaching Stan Drayton was better at IMO.
  14. Gotta love how the camera keeps pulling away from the field so we can view the scalps of the jawboners in the booth.
  15. FSU should lose for inflicting the tomohawk chant on everyone.
  16. https://tenor.com/vM9Y.gif Let me help you with that grandpa ... 😆
  17. Practice Notes and Comments through first 8:40. Recruiting talk for the remainder. Comment made about Nance's influence on DL causing some issues for OL. Hopefully, that helps the OL improve. Handling stunts and shifts has proven problematic for them in the past.
  18. Development is a legitimate concern.
  19. Neto also got snaps with the ones per CJ Vogel in the OTF video posted earlier. Draw your own conclusions, but Flood knows best.
  20. Hayden Conner and Connor Robertson both got snaps at center with the ones. Likewise, Hutson and Neto both got snaps at LG with the ones per CJ.
  21. Are you so certain about Bond? We know he's fast, but there have been mixed reports on his knowledge of the playbook and being on the same page as Ewers. I guess my concern is will he be consistent. As for Ewers, he still has to prove it live this season. Sure, we expect he should be better, but by the same token, he had some issues last season that Bobby and Gerry brought up today on youtube. Namely, his pocket presence and coming into the game ready to play, instead of settling in late in the game. Both issues were apparent last season. I like that we've heard he's getting further into his progressions, but let's hope that's still the case when Ewers knows the opposing defense isn't holding back. Lots of reasons to be optimistic, but we are in Kool-Aid season right now.
  22. I wish I'd got mine for $500. My lifetime super combo was $1000.
