  1. Bullshit call with a bump to the shoulder from the side, but it's not like he needed to block him at that point, 41 was gone. Stupid all the way around.
  2. Wasn't even stripped. He literally fumbled it trying to protect the ball.
  3. Fuck the umpire. Could have been caught.
  4. Massive holding on 41. No Call.
  5. Hahaha. Loved his response. Deafening silence in the crowd.
  6. It's rare to catch everything watching a game the first time. Rewatching once the full game gets posted to youtube will reveal some first emotionally driven impressions aren't really accurate usually. You have the luxury of pause and rewind. What's annoying though, is camera views often don't allow for seeing everything pertinent to the plays.
  7. I don't agree. There were times when we got pressure on him. And earlier on, he made poor throws and forced errors due to that pressure.
  8. I think the SEC refs allow a lot of holding go on. I wouldn't call this game the worst I've seen. Not even close really. It seemed pretty much par for the RRS to me. OU pretty much held with impunity and that's typical. I didn't pay attention to ball spots though. Saw quite a few comments on that, so there may be something there.
  9. I recall an earlier 4th down when their D wasn't ready and they stuffed the play. There's lots to complain about in this game, but this isn't one of them IMO.
  10. I'll have to rewatch the first one when it gets to youtube. Sanders getting popped I agree with which is why I didn't mention that one. Sanders didn't have a firm grasp on the ball when he got popped either. Not one I'd ding Ewers for.
  11. Let's not also forget the multiple sacks on passing downs. His pocket presence is a work in progress. Not all of those sacks are on him though, but there were certainly occasions where he needed to shit or get off the pot.
  12. I don't know if we have two more losses coming up or not, but I agree with this part. Team and staff have work to do.
  13. They fucking held like no tomorrow, but the refs did keep them clean.
  14. Did he not start the game with a ridiculous interception and fumble the ball, both of which were completely avoidable? I mean really, it's as if the Quinn Ewers Politburo will allow no legitimate criticism.
  15. I don't disagree though. PK seemed to lose his way in the second half. But players also fucked up plenty in execution. Ant Hill got enticed to go deep on cover instead of spying Gabriel, who scrambled up the middle for a huge 1st down conversion. Freshman mistake and he's taking his lumps and us along with him as he learns the position. Ford on the same drive, in contrast, was where he was supposed to be but looked like he was stuck in gumbo and couldn't make the tackle. If Ant had been in on that play, and IF he was in the same position (big if) he makes that tackle. He was a tackling beast when he read plays correctly. Brooks didn't have a great game either. That PI penalty was inexcusable. I applaud them when it saves a TD, but there was no reason for him to make contact on that play. There really were a lot of critical failures by players in this game, any one of which, may have made the difference. It didn't help that OU was able to hold with impunity for most of the game, but we expect that. Has always been so in this game.
  16. Head Coach is the head coach. I see basic shit the HC shouldn't allow go on all the time. Wrap up on tackles. Wrap up the ball with both arms in heavy traffic. The defense played pretty well early on. OU was running tempo and spreading the field. If the offense had produced earlier, would have been better. And also, Ewers starting the game in a funk falls on himself. He's not a freshman anymore. It's not his first big game either. His state of mind seems rather fragile and inconsistent to me. Maybe he just doesn't have it. I don't know, but he is hot/cold. Arm talent only takes you so far. Majors getting hurt was a big deal. At least Robertson got some valuable reps, but hate to see it in this game.
  17. Gotta hand it to OU. They came out and did what they had to. Venables really flipped his first season script. I still think Sark doesn't get this team in the right frame of mind for these rivalries. In particular, OU and Arkansas. Players have to be fired up for them. Not, be loose and have fun.
  18. Fucking Terrence Brooks. Wasn't necessary dumb ass.
  19. Still lots of time. D has to ice this game. Way to GO AUBURN!
