  1. Their mods have said that their decommit class will out rank their actual class.
  2. Well unlike A&M, USC and UF we have an elite roster of players that we need to retain. It’s a lot easier to go buck wild in hs recruiting when 50% of your team is cheap G5 rentals and P5 busts
  3. His daughter went to TCU, he claims to be an aggy but he defiantly doesn't vibe with the cult.
  4. Pointless battles that are a waste of resources due poor intelligence and made no strategic difference that are then mythicized by laymen seems to be a pretty spot on description of Texas A&M
  5. If you're looking for blind praise and a complete lack of critical analysis of player performance might I recommend Texags.com
  6. Arch fumbled the ball and gave it to Georgia in Texas territory in his only drive of the game. No OC ever wants to see his QB throw a pass into double coverage that's just bad QB play, Sark wants the correct throw made. Quinn air mailing a deep pass to a wide open receiver on a busted coverage will piss off fans but Arch throwing into double coverage and getting broken up or picked is worse in the eyes of Sark and every single other OC out there.
  7. Arch makes poor passes too, those are included in the low lights but coaches concerns are about reckless decision making which Arch being far less experienced is far more susceptible too.
  8. Because it shows the difference in the low lights, you should know this. Quinn's low lights are missing a read and dumping a pass to his check down and failing to convert a 3rd and 7, Arch's low lights is him throwing into double coverage 30 yards down field on 1st and 10 which is a cardinal sin to an OC. We're talking about Arch vs Quinn in 2024, not Arch in 2024 vs Quinn in 2022 Quinn has plenty of painful low lights but he almost never make blatantly stupid and reckless throws like we have seen Arch make.
  9. Us stepping on our own toes is the reason that we aren’t blowing teams out with 4+ score margins like 2020 Bama. We aren’t skating by on 2 minute drills and walk off field goals like people seem to think we are. We had 5 fumbles a scope and score and a muffed punt vs Kentucky, that’s the very definition of shitting the bed and we still won by 3 scores.
  10. These Texags posters are kind of right that this season is playing very out similar to last season. Start the season off hot with a big OOC win, suffer a mid season loss and an injured Ewers and enter a skid of close ugly games against sub par competition. It’s just that’s these dipshits are forgetting the part were Texas found its grove and then proceeded to beat the shit out of our in state rival in the last game of the season and crush our opponent in the conference title. So yeah, I hope Texas repeats this year what we did last year because these dipshits think they are Washington when they are actually Tech.
  11. I don’t know about this year, but Rod broke down Ewers sack rate while in empty and 4 wide and is was higher than in 12 personal.
  12. Why are we still debating this? Quinn has tendencies, and Georgia exploited it. When we lined up in trips ron 3rd and long Quinn made the decision pre snap he was going to Helm and Georgia made that bet giving up the slant and bringing the CB blitz.
  13. So Cale Gundy is basically their Duane Akina?
  14. That play was never getting made, the defense was teed up for that. The second they saw the trips they knew exactly where Texas wanted to go with the ball the delayed blitz up the middle get the RB blown up taking the QB eyes away from down field just in time for the CB blitz to get home.
  15. Y’all have a lot of strong opinions on scheme and mechanics for a bunch of stupid fucks that very clearly don’t know the difference between a zone read and a RPO.
  16. But you loses a shit load of the intermediate move the chain throws. When Manning was starting the offense was explosive but also extremely inefficient, as manning kept pressing for the big plays instead of just sustaining drives and moving the chains.
  17. When the play call comes in the offense will set in a formation and the defense will line up in its formation, the QB will then motion someone on offense and that will either force the defense to reveal their coverage or get them in a match up disadvantage. A big reason UGA kicked our ass is that they didn't bite on any of Texas's motions and basically played man press and bet the house that they could get to Quinn before he could go through his progression and the receivers got open. So a lot of the bed wetting is unnecessary as nobody else on the schedule will be able to do what Georgia did, press man against our WR if you don't have elite talent on the back end is just asking Quinn to hit slants, curls and crossing routes all day for 15-20 yards.
  18. Manning does not have the whole play book, when Arch was starting the offense used much less motion and fewer formations. What you gain in potential talent upside for pulling Ewers for Manning, you lose in scheme as Manning doesn't have the full offense to run.
  19. You’re telling me the 28 year old 3x SB 3x MVP future HOF NFL QB has better pocket presence than a 21 year old college QB?
  20. We won't see another defense like this, so it would take a total mental breakdown for Quinn to play this bad again. He has to leave for the NFL after this season, he's a former 5* 3 year starter in a NFL style offense, the tape has been made and he has an injury history. When you see guys come back for a 4th year it generally the result of wanting to play in a system that will increase they're draft stock or they are trying to over come a major injury and show they still have their athletic ability, none of these apply to Quinn.
  21. This is a Charlie Strong tier team.
  22. This is some weak ass Aggie sauce, they don’t give out trophies for hypothetical victories, injuries are part of the game and Texas lost a national title and at home to Bama. We don’t own Bama, and if your trying to use example from 50+ years ago when those coaches are dead and the players in nursing homes to support your argument, that’s a living in the past and a loser mentality in itself. Our goal going forward should be to build Texas into a juggernaut to kill other programs, but let’s not lie to ourselves about what Saban and Bama were. Because here’s the truth, in his run Saban and Bama racked up more hardware than the Texas football program has in its entire history, our goal should be to get to the level dominance that they have enjoyed for the last 15 years.
  23. My favorite take that I constantly see is the idea that you can’t both have money and success, because that’s currently what the Texas players are doing.
  24. You’re missing context on the corn dog bit. BV is a health nut and was asked if he had ever had a fletchers corn dog, he said no, but would eat one when OU won. So Sark coming into the press conference with a corn dog was a Daniel Day Lewis “I drink your milkshake!” Move.
