  1. I trying to come at this from the perspective of Sark. So the question becomes when do you bench Quinn? Texas was #1 and undefeated and statistically the most dominant team in college football going into the Georgia game. Quinn and Texas proceeded to get absolutely obliterated the first half and Sark does pull Quinn and Arch doesn’t do much better. Quinn goes back in the second half a Texas tries to close the gap but the first half disaster is too much to overcome. From the Georgia game till overtime in the SEC championship did Texas ever even trail for more than a single drive? In order for Sark to reasonably bench Quinn, Quinn would have needed to have another melt down that would have cost Texas the game or put Texas so far down that Sark would have had to bench Quinn and that just never happened. Could Arch have won us a title this year? I believe so but into order for that to happen Quinn would have had to leave after last year, and nobody though this time last year that bringing back Quinn a 3 year starter in our first season in the SEC was a bad idea.
  2. There is some real rose tinted glasses here, Arch made some mind numbingly bad decisions during his first two starts it’s just that they were against ULM and MSU. Arch absolutely could have had a 2022 OSU or TCU meltdown, pressing too hard and trying to make plays in big games. Also something Quinn was actually good was recognizing pressure and setting protections. There were multiple times that Arch didn’t recognize the blitz and got absolutely lit up from the second level.
  3. The ag school angle is even more absurd, given tons of ag schools have been dominate college football programs. Nebraska, Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, Penn State, and Ohio state have all won modern national titles and been contenders for more and are also “ag schools”
  4. Da fuck? Quinn has horrible footwork work and can’t make throws off balance and on the move and it’s a primary reason he plummeted in the draft. I genuinely think that Arch had more roll out passes and scrambles in his few starts than Quinn had in his whole career at Texas. Outside of the roll out passes during the Michigan game, Quinn either hit his checkdown or took a sack when he needed to be mobile or scramble.
  5. Watching Arch’s highlights and something that really stood out to me was how hyped Wingo, Bond and Golden when Arch would have them make a play. Play making is contagious Arch seem to excel at that, pushing the ball down the field even if it meant he had to take a hit compared to Quinn who seemed to just want to drive the bus.
  6. Do you think we may see NIL get as lopsided as the peak days of the SEC bag game during the 2010’s? I imagine there will be a compounding effect with well run NIL organizations raising the quality and success of their teams which will then raise the NIL value of its players.
  7. Did you watch Texas football while Bam Bam Sam was here? Sam Ehlinger deserves to have a special place in Texas football lore because that guy would have walked out on the 50 yard line and committed seppuku if that is what it took for Texas to win. So many times on a critical drive when the play breaks down, Quinn just crumpled and did nothing to extend the play before he self sacked. I all I could think during those moments is that Sam would have absolutely dived straight into the defense for at least another 3-4 yards and instead of taking a 8 yard sack.
  8. All of the draft broadcasts absolutely dragged A&M during the Nolan and Stewart picks about the greatest class of all time and its lack of production and development.
  9. Wow I am now dumber for having to listen to Stewart’s talk.
  10. Gerry and a quite a few people seem to be under the impression that the house case and revenue sharing means that there is “salary cap” on how much a school can spend. Gerry believes that some schools will go back to under the table bags.
  11. I think Gerry is hearing that from agents trainers and coaches the people who have a vested interest in the bag game coming back.
  12. The entire Dabo/Clemson coaching tree has been absolute disaster, Bret Venables 22-17 at OU is the most successful coach to come out of Clemson. Whatever Dabo did during the 2010’s is clearly not replicable and Venables spent the later half of his career solely in that environment and that’s where he saw his success.
  13. This is because of Texas’s dogshit redzone offense. Auburn holding any school kicking records is a mark against Sark and his offense not against sign of Auburns abilities.
  14. Sounds like you have a stick up yours.
  15. NOLA is so deep into cap hell that it will genuinely require a multi year tank to unfuck their roster.
  16. He can fit a whole ass IPad Pro in his hoodie pocket and also it’s fucking April and 90 degrees why are you wearing a hoodie.
  17. You’re part time friend at TDCJ? Did you just copy and paste this off some random Facebook post? TDCJ is the agency responsible for the Texas prison system they wouldn’t know or be involved in active ongoing investigations outside the prison system. DPS is the agency with the rangers and is the Law Enforcement Agency which would be doing an investigation.
  18. Saying the word Bitch is 10,000% better than trying not to cuss and actually saying what Hicks said. They would be undisputed champions of stepping on your own dicks for no reason was a sport.
  19. I know Bobby made a nice egg from Rivals/247/On3, but who’s bank rolling OTF? I know most of the guys have day jobs but, I assume Gerry and CJ are full time. Are they already self sustaining from subs and ads or do they have a backer?
  20. Buddy are you not aware of the crazy markup on Japanese items being resold in the U.S.?
  21. New business model Step 1. Go to Japan Step 2. Buy Nintendo Switch 2s Step 3. Smuggle them in my ass back into the U.S. Step 4. Profit.
  22. The time has come to touch the stove.
  23. Holy shit, this game was a master piece. Phantom Liberty was amazing and actually terrifying, and the just the general power build up over the course of the game is incredibly rewarding and only makes the Phantom Liberty ending even harsher. Johnny, Judi, Pan Am, Reed, Somi, Alex, Vik, Takamura, Rouge, what a hell of a cast of characters and whose a lives and deaths actually mean something when playing through.
