I've had this Tweet sent to me 4 times today by aggy.

    National Roller Coaster Day GIF

No aggy send me anything bc I've called them out for their hypocrisy and told them to fuck off multiple times. Plus, we haven't played them in a decade.

Good god, what a load of garbage.

In 2011, A&M broke almost a century of Texas football history when the school announced it was joining the SEC. UT’s continued push for greater shares of Big 12 revenue led to the divorce. The creation of the Longhorn Network enraged A&M’s board of regents. UT believed its brand and devoted fans could sustain an independent cable TV network. Like Icarus, the Longhorns wanted to escape their confines. But moderation gave way to greed and the wax holding Texas college football together began to drip, drip, drip.

So, I guess facts don't matter and this guy gets column inches to just make up shit?  When did UT EVER ask for a bigger share of revenue?

And let's also just ignore the fact the we invited aggy to join us before it turned into LHN.

aggy is full of shit and most of their "former students" and the t-shirt fans they claim don't exist believe this inaccurate, media-concocted drivel.

I think he means having both the number and the logo on the helmet rather than the numbers on both sides. Boise State does this a lot too and it looks like shit

    Exactly

Bama is classic with numbers on both sides. Penn State should go with their throwback look, too, IMO. Nothing on the helmets is too generic. Looks like a middle school team.

I want the pod system so bad. Arkie Texas aggy ousux. Or sub mizzou for arkie because that may help in Texas recruiting.

3 pod games. Let aggy and arkie keep on playing in that dumb stadium. Tx ou in the cotton bowl. The rest are home / at home. 25% of the conference in figured out and those 2 neutral games bring a lot of dollars.

It'll be interesting to see if aggy lobbies to keep their "rivalry" with LSU alive. If so, Mizzou could be with us and maybe aggy will be with LSU and the Mississippis. This shouldn't happen, but maybe we have 4 pods with 1 crossover rival?

So small upstart Underarmor can do alternates for 2021 while worldwide megacorp Nike can't even manage to make our non alternate uni the correct shade of orange until next year due to "covid". Duly noted..

It's my understanding that UA outsources team uniform manufacturing to Alleson Athletic much like Nike still uses Majestic for MLB baseball. Nike and UA are marketing and design companies first and foremost. They don't always own the production facilities.

He would be lying if he asked either Texas or ou if they were leaving or listening to offers, he doesn't have the foresight for those types of questions.  I believe the quote to be real and what Bowlsby is referring to is Texas and ou being on conference calls, going along with things. In his world, which oddly enough is college athletics,  a world of lies and backstabbing,  he thinks Texas should have fessed up and bowed out of any big xii discussions. I bet he had other universities in conference asking him to keep an eye on Texas and ou and he shrugged them off. Now he's playing the victim card

ESPN and FOX declining to extend the Big 12's media rights during their most recent "exclusive negotiating window" should've been his first clue.

I'd like to see the focus group research that said that people wanted grey uniforms. I just don't see how it could possibly draw majority support, even from "the yooths" as they say. I don't know a single person who liked our grey uniforms, and most of us actively hate them.

It was the same focus group that changed the formula for Coke and changed the name of Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC.
