These uniforms remind me of the 1991 Cotton Bowl.
I hate 'em.....and The U, but this is how Miami is supposed to look. They'll have an unnecessary black ensemble, too.

I've been there a week or so. The average poster IQ ain't 100. It's closer to 25-30. My arrival could've easily doubled that average.

1. Steve Sarkisian, Texas
So, what if we’re probably over-rating Texas in everything now that they’re back? Sarkisian’s a coach with significant life experience who has always been interesting in conversation. He’s been to the top, the bottom and climbed all the way back (if not higher) than where he was as the USC head coach. Sarkisian has an energy and mind that’s building Texas’ roster on the recruiting trail and scheming Xs and Os. Of all 16 of the SEC coaches, he’d be the most intriguing dinner-party guest. Using all those criteria, Sarkisian is No. 1.

Reads like nobody was willing to give up lucrative home games for Yormark's pipe dream.

To be fair we also played for a championship/runner ups 6 more times. So 12/38 trips....
Now you're doing aggy math to make our performance look better. Well done! 😝

Pate gets paid to promote Texas A&M.
I tried watching Pate's podcast on YT once. That was enough.
He's sponsored by Academy, you say? Well, they're certainly not going advertise on a channel that badmouths aggy. More $ in sunshine pumping their delusional fanbase.

Aggy is very very unlikely to win it all next year. Could it happen, sure. Will it happen, probably not. Hell, LSU nearly went down to Wake in the year they won it. Spending big NIL bucks might get you a spot at the dance but you need so much stuff to break your way to actually win it all. Then from 2026 onward the aggies will crash and burn. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the aggies crash and burn this coming season.
Well, based on our championship percentage in Omaha - 6 out of 38 trips (16%) - you're correct in betting against aggy winning it all. Too many things have to go right, which makes USC's 5 in a row even more impressive.

I started reading sec rant, and the Tennessee posters are as bad as aggy. I was not expecting anyone to be as bad as aggy.
Certainly not from TN's state flagship university. That's more of an okie lite, Miss St, Aubarn, FSU, and Clemson attitude.

Haven't we been saying this in recruiting/portal for going since the changes for NIL?
Yeah, logically it makes sense to invest more if your team is national championship caliber. ROI
aggy is mortgaging the future to win now. I can't blame them for that, but it didn't work for Jimbo's football team. Schloss knows next year is a rebuilding season with potential upside if the team gels.

🏈 Will TEXAS become the SEC’s most hated team?
I hope so, bc that means we're beating up on some rednecks and hillbillies.
We ain't here to make friends. Fuck 'em all.

The most egregious example of this is Horace Carswell, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for an extraordinary bombing mission. https://www.cmohs.org/recipients/horace-s-carswell-jr
Carswell attended TAMU one year, transferred and graduated from TCU, lettering in football on teams with Sammy Baugh and Davey O'Brien. His family has had no association with TAMU. Under no circumstances should Carswell be "claimed" by TAMU.
TAMU claiming Carswell as one of their MOH awardees, and an "Aggie who served in WWII" is stolen valor, pure and simple. It's outrageous and disgusting.
You and @lilMAC25 are filling in admirably for RD in his absence. He'd be so proud.

Respectfully not everyone are whores and need to make up a massive deficit with other conferences to stay relevant.
But, let's say the numbers being thrown around are correct - Yormark gets $30MM per year to rebrand the Big 12, "the Allstate Conference" (their name/brand sucks anyway, especially without UT and OU). How much is the SEC gonna be worth?
You're right - it's possible the SEC sees itself as "the brand" in collegiate athletics, but I'd be surprised if Sankey didn't shop it around. Why leave money on the table?

I'm going to massively disagree with you on this. The SEC doesn't need naming rights. It is THE name of college football.

You mean the Allstate 12?
If Yormark pulls this off you can expect to see the Coca-Cola/State Farm/Waffle House Southeastern Conference or some damn thing soon enough.

Not aggy? The charter reads like it was supposed to be more of a trade school.

Love Kyle, but UT was established in 1883, not 1876. That was just the year the legislature authorized the establishment of the university.
1876 was also the year UT's agricultural branch opened in Collie Station.

Meh
The cursive script is too pervasive in both high school and CFB now, IMO. If you've got a recognizable logo, stick with it.
