Nothing will please me more than seeing TCU fail.
Living in Tarrant County, they're the closest thing to aggy I've experienced.

This would be absolutely glorious. I feel for Florida fans because their administration is filled with morons, but this would make me excited to see.
Doesn't like recruiting
Doesn't like to smiley glad hand with donors
He's checked out
What a time to be alive.
But in all honesty, I think Florida will make a run at Dan Lanning, and they might be able to pull it off.
If what you say is documented and true, UF would be absolutely regarded to hire Chip Kelly.
What say you, @Sbbruin ?

I want Duke to make the 12 team playoff so we can laugh at aggy for making them better by hiring their coach away.
With Manny Diaz as their HC? Unlikely, but I'll be pulling for Maalik.

His dad is a coach and had jobs at all of them.
Good call.
That should've been my first guess. Here's a Texas Monthly article about his dad, Jamie Rigdon, and "The First Family of 6-Man Football".

Columbus had a great pickup in the transfer portal, gaining Air Force commit, Grayson Rigdon from Benjamin. I say that a little bit in jest, as the goal is for the 3 time Six-Man POTY to gain exposue to the 11-man game.
Could not agree more on the small school piece, though. 2 of my schools are 2A, with Abernathy dropping in from 3A in the realignment and Windthorst making work in 2A-DII.
Regardless of the school the OP picks, it is starting to heat up on football talk and workouts. This is the opposite of the old movie, WarGames- the only losing move is not to choose a team!
I'd like to know how Rigdon bounced from Strawn to Benjamin to Columbus, of all places.
Watched some tape of both football and basketball. I was more impressed with his outside shot in hoops.

On the other hand, if you're only pretending to be a dumbass, congratulations on a great job.
Oooohh, the finger! Not just a dumbass, but a bad ass, too. I'm chastened. Truly.
Sounds like you're the one pretending to be a bad ass.

Reading comprehension - how does it work?
This year, if Ewers falters - as in, being inaccurate or banged up, and/or self-sacking or unable to deal with blitzes and pressure - we'll see Arch, not Maalik. I think, sooner rather than later.
On the other hand, if you're only pretending to be a dumbass, congratulations on a great job.
If Ewers falters, UT will not have the season it's hoping for with Arch playing for extended periods.

No shit? Did it occur to you to compare with last season?
No, since we're now talking about 2024

If Arch comes in, you can file Ewers under Wally Pipp.

From what I can gather, the people that we are "pissing off" in the SEC are the aggies. And it's merely our presence that pisses them off.
I mean, in all seriousness Looch, you fantastic imbecile, what have we done?
Influenced the SEC to finally host their media days in Dallas?
But, how is that bad for aggy?

If you're in the Houston area, Galena Park North Shore is fun to follow. They're a powerhouse!
When you live in the Houston area, you'd better choose a team closer to the office or the side of town that's most accessible on Friday evenings after rush hour. North Shore is a great choice for an east-sider, though.

Excited to see Trey Moore get after QBs this season for Texas. Our defense could be pretty salty with a much better pass rush. 🤘
The pass rush of the edge should be better with Moore, but it's the interior DL that concerns me.
Collins, Broughton, and the AZ transfers gotta step up big time to match Murphy and Sweat's production. Tall order, for sure, but maybe we've got better depth this year?

UCLA should play aggy every year in the Mattress Mack Sleeping Giant Bowl from Rhodes Stadium in Katy.
aggy should've kept the shoulder stripes now that I think about it.
Who wants to forget the Stumblin' years?

A nobody here,I would like recommendation from yall for a HS team to follow this season,
Had a stroke 4 years ago Shaggy was great,,I know the people some of them that post here.
Yall know your football, and giving me a team to follow would engage my brain..part of the healing process to keep my brain active
please make a team that has the media to make it accessible
A smaller maybe 4A would be most intriguing
Hook 'em
Where do you live? Approximately
You should start by picking up a copy of Texas Football and make your choice from there.

Look, I'll call it like I see it. There are a lot more "honorable" posters here that have aspirations to be surrounded by their wife and children during their dying days.
And I applaud them for that aspect of their wants in life.
I'm not like them. If at 80+ I pass with a legit 10 prostitute at the Waldorf in Vegas while pumped up on coke and Viagra... it was a damn good run, because that means at 80+ I still had enough money, energy and drive book and take the flight, pay for the Waldorf, find and finance a top quality sex worker, acquire some quality cocaine and indulge. I'm not supporting nor condoning sex work, drug use nor Vegas... I'm just sayin'.
Sanders was only 53 when he died of a heart attack with a hooker in LA.
Not so great run.

Did anybody from Texas talk about this rivalry during SEC day? I know we talked about OU which is a big deal. I continually get the feeling that the SEC people go exclusively to Aggies to talk about our arrogance and expectation to run things on and off the field.
A&M is an important game to us. It has nothing near the intensity of the OU game. It hurts them to think that.
Weirdos
SEC talking heads know "the Texas arrogance and expectation to run things on and off the field" is good clickbait for all aggy and most of their ignorant, mouth-breather fans. Embrace the hate.

There's 66 reasons UCLA has a lot of potential and 3 negatives.
Wasn't it an old football coach, maybe Red Sanders, who said "potential ain't nothin' but a fancy French word that means you ain't worth a shit now, but you might be someday"?

As we Texas fans know, Mack will quit before he retires.
You mean he hasn't already? Did anyone see him recruiting in Florida?
