This is who Steve Sarkisian is.
Because the "big" win against SHSU almost made the OL look cohesive and competent?

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
That's true, Sark could be setting up aggy for a different play.

Texas vs. Arkansas - 2:30pm on ABC
Targeting has been a "point of emphasis" to improve player safety since its inception. Without the benefit of replay, TXHSFB officials are usually less prone to calling it unless it's blatantly obvious headhunting. We wanted to see "malicious intent" before throwing a flag. At the D1 college level, officials are actually encouraged to call it more often.

Tell Me About Texas a&m
This mindset is why aggy never wins anything of consequence. Victim mentality "It's the refs fault."

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
In hindsight, I kinda wish we saved this play for aggy.

Fuck Cal
Andrew Luck would've looked a helluva lot better in burnt orange, back in the day. 🤘

Actually, I read an article recently that claimed Kiffin has been on the wagon for a while now. I'd link it, but I forgot where I saw it. Now Joey Freshwater is into hot yoga. Read into that what you will. https://www.si.com/college-football/ole-miss-lane-kiffin-shared-powerful-message-about-his-sobriety

Tell Me About Texas a&m
I saw it at a bar I went to today, but it was probably ESPN+ or SEC+ if that's a thing.

Texas vs. Arkansas - 2:30pm on ABC
I agree that there didn't appear to be any "indication of targeting" with Smith's tackle. Another poster observed that the Arkansas player is only 5'6" (really?), making the helmet contact unavoidable. When in doubt, the officials will err on the side of caution. Of course, the replay official could've overruled the call, but didn't.

I only observed Sark in his usual squat, staring at his laminated play sheet.
