Texas vs. Arkansas - 2:30pm on ABC
I agree that there didn't appear to be any "indication of targeting" with Smith's tackle. Another poster observed that the Arkansas player is only 5'6" (really?), making the helmet contact unavoidable. When in doubt, the officials will err on the side of caution. Of course, the replay official could've overruled the call, but didn't.

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
Inquiring minds wanna know. Will Sark's status impact whether Arch stays? Stay tuned

This is who Steve Sarkisian is.
I only observed Sark in his usual squat, staring at his laminated play sheet.

Is there a good reason to not play a shit team in late November?
See for yourself. You can look at SEC members' future schedules at this link. https://fbschedules.com/sec-football-schedule/

For better or worse, our OOC scheduling most years has included one marquee P4 opponent home-and-home. CDC is committed to a great "fan experience", so I don't see that changing under his watch. Moving forward, it'll be more of the same with two G6 opponents filling it out. https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/texas/

I think we've already established that many on the CFB Playoff committee don't watch all of the games and only see the final scores. Is what it is.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
If we somehow miraculously get in, it'd be because TV and advertisers love them some Longhorns ratings. Just like Notre Dame

I agree the UF loss hurt us a helluva lot more than the OSU loss.

Texas vs. Arkansas - 2:30pm on ABC
I agree, today was a lot of fun. So was the Miss State game. If checking in on the "This Is Who Sarkisian Is" thread is a miserable experience, you should avoid it. I generally don't enjoy gossip, either, but I'm trying to understand how this team underachieved and underperformed for much of the season. Losing to UF and big to UGA was a killer. Now I just want to beat aggy to finish off a good, if less than completely satisfying, season.

UT needs to schedule more bottom-feeding P4 teams instead of OSU and Michigan is what I've gleaned from this rant.

Bottom line is don't lose a conference game by double-digits in November. Or lose to an also-ran like UF...ever.

Based on rumors, I'd say "yes" she's scouting for _______ .

Maybe, but we've been scheduling one marquee P5/4 opponent OOC every year, and that ain't changing under CDC. Did it hurt us this year? Sure, but now we're crying over spilled milk. It's helped us in the past, too.

C'mon, man The message is don't lose to UGA by 25 in November. The OSU loss doesn't hurt us nearly as badly.
