  1. No, I expect UF vs UT to be sold out with no parking anywhere near the stadium since Texas hasn't played there since 1940. It may be different when UF plays Long Island U
  2. Maybe, but the SEC has so many good match-ups we may catch a break. Bama isn't that much tougher than Mizzou these days. Drink has them playing well. Sked isn't that much easier, IMO.
  3. A church acquaintance is a BlowU grad who coached his son's youth football teams. He'd call me to discuss the rules and potential trick plays. He described a hideout play he wanted to run, which I discouraged. Just because you can get away with it due to rookie officials' ignorance doesn't mean you should. I reminded him to spend less time trying to fool people with deceptive bullshit and more time on blocking and tackling.
  4. Myself I doubt that's what happened in this game unless the officials on that particular crew are retarded.
  5. "...and now, on the main stage let's give it up for Brexli !"
  6. Nah, I'd go with Simon unless you're in 3rd & long and need a RB for max protect. Blue wasn't good at blocking, either. I hope the kid has good hands. I see he's caught 2 passes for a whopping 2 yards, total.
  7. GaTech was the last Russell Athletic-sponsored team back in 2017, I think.
  8. It's just such a chickenshit play. Ranks right up there with faking injuries to stop the clock. No integrity
  9. Your co-worker must not like you that much. 🙃
  10. That's been pointed out to me a couple of times. I guess expecting a coach to do his due diligence on an important player is asking too much. Measureables like launch angle for kicks are probably beyond his grasp.
  11. Yeah, I tried to educate him more politely. He could be a dirt burglar, so he's already got enough problems.
  12. TXHSFB plays by NCAA Rules. As officials, we were instructed that if a player runs out wide past the numbers, chances are he's "simulating being taken out or substituted". That's exactly what OU did. Intentionally trying to deceive the defense (and the officials). Should've been an easy UNS for the flank officials, but they were obviously asleep at the wheel. Bad look for the SEC.
  13. Yeah, but most teams have pick plays in their books. UT's mesh routes are designed that way. Receivers can't run to contact on purpose, otherwise it's OPI.
  14. I'm pretty sure the SEC and B1G have already told the NCAA to fuck off on football oversight.
  15. I own a few Russell Athletic shorts and T-shirts, too. I think they're referencing RA getting out of the football uniform business. Many SEC teams used to wear 'em back in the 70's and 80's before Nike took over.
  16. Cross-post from Gata thread. No surprise, UT got what we wanted for our 3 SEC rivals.

Yes, I know. I guess we can trust an On 3 "journalist"? I don't follow Chris Low (@clowfb) on X

Where are you seeing this confirmed or posted?
  19. Please stop. That shit gives me Taysom Hill flashbacks.
  20. Yeah, I don't remember seeing any jump cuts from him against SHSU. At least he's running the plays correctly now. Progress
  21. Meh Army beat those turds in Manhattan. Maybe you can call it a trap game, but y'all would have to play badly to lose.
  22. Clark definitely ran the plays how they're supposed to be run and blocked, IMO. Not as much hesitation. Of course, the holes were bigger and easier to see too. Gibson seemed to run thru contact better with more lean.
  23. Y'all gotta feel pretty good about beating Utah handily in SLC. That's a historically tough venue. Only tough road game left on the sked is @ ASU. I guess UH could step up and give y'all trouble, but I doubt it.
  24. Oh, please, sweet baby Jesus wrapped up in a burnt orange blanket.....have aggy visit DKR b2b years, 2025 and '26
