Touche', but IU's done a helluva job identifying and developing their talent. Many were JMU transfers. Plus, every team in the B1G is overrated with the exception of tOSU. Great coaching job, though.
Tech's McGuire benefitted from portal talent, but he and his staff have done a great job of getting the players to buy into their roles and play well together.
I agree that shit scheduling will negatively impact ND long term.
ND is just leveraging their brand for a sweetheart deal with the ACC. I don't blame them for taking advantage of their current standing. Joining the ACC fulltime isn't an option right now, just like dumping the LHN wasn't for UT as members of the Big 12.
Joe's job just got a little harder, though. Now he gets to sift through the kids who may not have received P4 offers and project their future development. Find the "diamonds in the rough" so to speak.
Of course, this is something UNT has done for years and there's probably not a better market to do it than DFW, unless it's Greater Houston.
I'm not gonna pretend to know Sark's management style or MO.
We've beaten that to death on another thread, but all we've got are rumors, innuendo, and hearsay.
Dillingham appears to be totally committed to his alma mater, too, otherwise he would've bailed this cycle.
Y'all are in good position, moving forward. Just gotta stay healthy bc NIL appears to be impacting quality depth on rosters. Nobody wants to be a backup.
