Although, if we did join the B1G I think Nebraska might implode into itself. That would be worth the price of admission.
We've already seen aggy do this, so who do you dislike more?

I thought that before I lived there for a few years, but what I found was that a shitload of New Yorkers are really into college football but went to smaller schools in the region who don’t play big time football. They’re into the big games of the week but don’t really have an allegiance to a particular team, definitely not Syracuse which might as well be in Buffalo, and sure as fuck not New Jersey-ass Rutgers….
So, they're degenerate gamblers who like to bet on CFB?

Are we talking about the west coast, rust belt, or south?
...and in what context are we measuring the geography's collective intelligence?

Question for Texas fans - knowing that the B1G can probably now take their pick of the remaining PAC schools, would you prefer a B1G with USC/UCLA/Oregon/Washington or the SEC? Not saying this is in the cards or anything, but reset the board and assume you hadn't announced your intent to join the SEC - would you prefer the SEC or 20 School B1G + USC/UCLA/Oregon/Washington (and OU/UT)?
SEC
I was never interested in joining the Rust Belt or Left Coast leagues. Easier travel, big & passionate fan bases. Better BBQ

How are those teams lucky? They’re guaranteed to just get their heads kicked in for eternity. With $100MM annually, they can out-bid the teams not in the super leagues.

The 6 schools I listed going to the P12 makes more money than adding a few schools from the P12 to the bastardized B12.
If I'm a bigger name brand in the B12 I'd much rather be associated with the schools in the west than who the B12 added.
Who are the "bigger name brands" worth poaching in the Big 12?
KU, OSU, and Tech?

Let the new Big XII commissioner be in charge too, the PAC guy sucked and failed in his attempt to mimic the Big 10.

What is the SEC response to this? Guess the Mouse will have a say in that but is there a move? Does there really need to be? In the words of the great mensch Linda Richmond, "Talk amongst yourselves!"
ESPN has the ACC broadcast rights, so the Mouse doesn't have to do anything now.

Which brands have the biggest chance of making a move to the Big 10 from the ACC?
Because that's what is coming next.
I read somewhere that UNC and UVA may be at the top of the B1G's list.

Even without those 2 you are looking at a much better set of peers academically and if we are running towards the super conference era there is no way Oregon or Oregon State gets left out, but can you make that argument about UH?
Oregon will bail with UW in a heartbeat if given the chance.
Maybe the B1G's in a hurry to get to 20?

Top guy that reports on the Pac12. If hes talking about it, its happening..

So then, once again the B12 either made a mistake by back filling now that other Pac12 schools will be available or the B12 is now screwed because the Texas schools are all about to bail
Tech, TCU, and BU ain't dumb enough to join a Pac league without USC and UCLA.
Why?

Would USC and UCLA prefer to add west coast "travel partners" to the B1G? Or leave them to compete for the scraps with no place at the big boys' table?
