  1. Plays 7v7 with Jonathan Hatton, a '26 RB we'll likely be after. Johnson's dad is also a trainer in CC.
  2. 5th yr guard averaging over ~20 ppg for his career and shooting .388 from three, from Rockwell via Dallas Jesuit. Yeah, I'd hope we're interested.
  3. Assuming he’s not being coached by Timpson Bob Kersee, 10.66 laser at 15yo is raw speed and/or unnatural acceleration. There’s something to be said for football speed and he’d need to be coachable, but save for future injury, he’d be a huge addition imo. 10.66 at 15 is crazy.
  4. Getting some strong youth group girlfriend vibes here. Flirting was fun, but no, we cannot go to a hotel after prom.
  5. Modern basketball: Old guards win tournament games Surly: We don't recruit enough HS Centers
  6. No, he was a camp invite monitored for growth. Same class as Sanders, Davis, and Helm. Gumms was interested, though. His 247 profile picture was him in Texas gear for a long time
  7. You can tell Gerry isn’t on campus taking pictures. Severe lack of ankles in the on3 pics
  8. Mack didn’t claim that Charlie only needed to ice his cake either. Tom was certainly too proud to give away any earned credit, but Charlie gave himself credit for the roster if a now very high bar was met. Turns out they both ate shit that first year.
  9. What Becton makes now is roughly the same as a head strength coach in the NFL, but most NFL head strength coaches make more than most of their CFB counterparts. There are some CFB outliers that are either overpaid, are rewarded for tenure, or have been money whipped to take the job but those outliers aren't the market.
  10. I saw an incredible stat the other day re: avg. ppg of freshman v. transfers. Something like ~20% of freshman are averaging double figures compared to~60% of transfers. Those aren't super correct, but the disparity is not exaggerated - it's enormous. Whomever the next coach is will need to adapt to the transfer heavy model deployed by Beard. Of course transcendent freshman will always exist in basketball, but roster construction won't be Calipari's Kentucky. I, too, would enjoy a Wright/Donovan/Stevens type. That said, roster construction is fundamentally shifting away from one year rentals and will require skillful portal navigation and drawing on existing college staff relationships.
  11. He's a longer, taller Prince Dorbah frame, but without the quickness. While Zina may be able to put on weight easier, he's probably 20lbs lighter than you'd like at this stage. The length is what separates him from your average tweener, but to your point, his hudl is like watching whatdoidowithmyhands.gif
  12. Zina wants to be a top priority and he's.....not. So much like his brother, I'll be pleasantly surprised if.
  13. Say what you will about the evaluation abilities of your average mbu, but *checks username* nvm
