  1. Here's how On3 talks about it for reference https://www.on3.com/news/on3-consensus-team-recruiting-ranking-raises-the-bar/ Their database is still kind of a mess. The fact that they had to check if he was on scholariship or not after committing tells us that they don't trust it to be accurate either. I would bet walk-ons fall off at some point, but can't say that for sure. This is not a stupid question.
  2. In a world where we land both McVay and Stroh and they both develop into starters, we're looking at a combined 700 lbs and 13 ft in height across two guard spots. That is fucking enormous. Better hope Arch grows a couple inches.
  3. This was the one Texas tried to squeeze in midweek after the MSU visit that will likely end up Alabama weekend (9/10). No public notes on why midweek didn't happen.
  4. Yes, he did. The NBAPA top 100 showcase in Orlando
  5. Quick primer for this fine Tuesday: Gerry is on his way to Florida right now Cedric Baxter, RB from Edgewater is celebrating a birthday today Cedric Baxter is currently on commit watch Billy Walton decommitted from okie lite last night following his OV to Texas Malik Muhammad is Billy Walton's Cousin Muhammad has made the point that his family is a priority in his decision Texas leads for Anthony Hill per errbody in what is expected to be a summer decision Braylon Shelby will be deciding between Texas and USC before the end of next week, per Gerry and he's not changing his Texas pick Cook is done with OVs, dropped a top 3 eliminating aggy and is expected to commit shortly, per his own comment Ewers, Cook, and Wisner all got tattoos together this weekend Gullette is expected to pull the trigger on a commitment soon following his final OV to Texas where he reportedly committed to the staff O/U 5.5 before the end of next week Cedric Baxter Billy Walton Malik Muhammad Anthony Hill Braylon Shelby Johntay Cook Derion Gullette
  6. He was filming that video at night… #sarkafterdark
  7. Side note. An unintended, but terribly fun advantage of dark mode is when people forget something, go google it, ctrl+c, nav back and ctrl+v (rc, paste as plain text you fucking animals!!!$$!!$), then finish their thought. “Thanks for whiffing on… …aw shit what was that guys name…new tab, “bama football class 2022” enter…scroll…click…scroll…highlight…ctrl+c…other tab…ctrl+v …Tony Mitchell there ags! Helped us a bunch. /scene
  8. Sure, but then who's 5th? Edit to add: MHP is not a DB take anymore, so wouldn't be 5th in this hypothetical. We'd still have to be recruiting one of the aggy corners, or be working guys we assumed were out like Pleasant, Bell, or Vickers
  9. Jordan Matthews, MM, Derek Williams, and JJ?
  10. Goddammit Sydney. Cover your mouth, that shit is contagious.
  11. Because he's committing to us today #shocktheworld
  12. Really similar strengths to Blackwell, but much more athletic and better in coverage. Williams could fill that role they pitched to Harold Perkins. Really curious to see how they deploy Blackwell this season.
  13. Recently it was reported that the staff told a prospect on campus the number is 4. I think it's actually 5 if it includes Hale or a random numbers buster we haven't heard from yet. Jalen Brown faded and I think the Florida schools sunk their talons in. The most likely WR class is Niblett, Wilson, Cook, and MHP with Greathouse headed to ND and continuing to work on Hale.
  14. 8 of our last 11 OL commits are consensus 4/5 stars (per Gerry), and that's not to say the current 3 star guys should be, or will remain there. Stacking high ceiling guys is a luxury, not a negative.
  15. Give me Gullette, Baxter, and Cook. Maybe swap Baxter with Hill for funsies.
