  1. Beauchamp: Texas (Legacy walk on) - His father, QB Brent Beauchamp left Texas with a 200.8 QB rating having completed 1/1/12yds in 1992. But what he's most remembered for... https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1991-03-04-9101200524-story.html Ford: arky - has a massive leg. Offered before Will Stone, but was injured which led to preferring Stone. Oke: Kilgore College Alexander: PWO at Tulsa Province: PWO at UTSA
  2. Thanks for putting this here. One quibble. Greathouse moving out his timeline is good for Texas. If anything, they may try to push Parker's decision out to buy time on Hale/Greathouse/Pettaway. Based on what we know about the WR board currently, Parker and Wilson's offers to get committable when: 2 of Greathouse, Hale, and Pettaway commit elsewhere Neither Jalen Brown or DeAndre Moore reciprocate interest post Arch commit OR Cook FAFO 1 of Greathouse, Hale, and Pettaway commit elsewhere
  3. These are almost verbatim quotes from what 247 published. Either the athletic is lazy and lying, or Coach Nelson carries around bulleted response notecards. Honestly, it's probably the latter. I don't think you're wrong about the overall timeline of announcing, but I would be shocked if he did it at the MPA. Pulling spotlight from others hasn't been his MO to this point and I would doubt that changes now.
  4. Arch has never personally published anything. Fawcett works for On3. It was an edit supporting their story about his visits. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cd1DeO8lZOt/
  5. Derek Williams is the prize and Vickers going to Bama would improve our chances. They already have a safety committed, too.
  6. Clemson and Oregon are making him a priority and the hometown team was trying to slow play. Sounds like Texas waited too long.
  7. Gerry says Vasek not likely after OV, hence the move on Walton. Walton has a higher ceiling and lower floor than Vasek. He'll take time. They need at least one early contributor at edge out of this class, imo. If they don't get Vasek, they need to get Shelby.
  8. We have a pretty good idea as to the appeal of each to Arch, and whom in his camp are advocating for each destination. To South's point, there are advocates for all three. The unknown is more a reflection of us than a reflection of him, imo. I agree with others here that he was still relatively undecided heading into OVs, and Texas' miniscule perceived lead is still mostly intact. What these visits will not answer for him is the total makeup of our '23 class and Sark's W/L trajectory. If he commits anywhere before those questions are answered, we're really only looking for one data point on Arch. Risk tolerance. And GOOD LUCK capturing that from a 17yo.

  10. His dad was ranked higher and went further away from California than Texas https://247sports.com/Player/Dominic-Robinson-48694/
  11. It used to slam aaaaaaaaaaaaaand go hard?
  12. This is the '22 transfer thread, and unless we take someone already in the portal (not likely), or a grad transfer yet to enter the portal that enrolls before the start of school (not likely), we've closed up shop on '22 transfers.
  13. Baker isn't really a GM in the traditional sense. It doesn't appear she has any roster management influence. Rather, it looks like Baker will be generally managing athlete and team brand marketing initiatives separate from the athletic department. I'm a big proponent for a revenue sport dedicated AD or GM, but as a rung above the HC. This aint that.
  14. I only know this from the broadcast, but players at AF commit to service if they stay for their 3rd+ year. While pros would still be an option, they would need a release and then come back and serve. So they hinted at the expectation he would hit the portal after the season. Skenes wouldn't catch for us, but he'd pitch and situationally DH.
  15. Cool, cool. Ian Boyd has joined the club of furiously masturbating substackers.
  16. No, no. Mike is on the clock, so that’s clearly a full sugar Mexican Coke playing the part of “coffee”. One does not simply eclipse 3 bills on accident. He’s maximizing opportunity for caloric consumption. Pro move.
  17. Lethargic takes coming in hot this afternoon. I’ll assume he forgot to take a picture of the first 2
