  1. Verbal commits is reporting 2 new offers - looks like the staff did some in-person evaluating in Arizona last week. '22 - Adrame Diongue, a 7'0 C from Arizona by way of Senegal https://247sports.com/player/adrame-diongue-46102252/ '23 - David Tubek, SF from Glendale by way of South Sudan https://verbalcommits.com/players/adrame-diongue
  2. "Support Texas Football players legally for only the price of a cup of coffee*!" *filled with two ounces of weed
  3. Really enjoying the continuing trend of changing avatars to other poster's actual faces. Well done, @JesusSweatDuck "JuSt LoOkInG oUt FoR tHe KiDs" When you root for Texas in the NIL age, allowing the free market to work is a positive. Let's not overthink.
  4. I went back and read Roach's post-morterm on that class and he said something to the effect that Watts and Texas/Herman just weren't a fit and both parties moved on. Everyone who we have recruited and would be noteworthy reaching out at positions of need. That's exactly what the list is. While I think it's Anderson, it's worth remembering guys we missed on in the summer.
  5. Idk that they looked shitty, but their secondary is pretty young. Ryan Watts of all people played a lot and looked really fucking good. A missed eval by the last staff. It would be terrific if Brooks sees an easier path to playing time here and reached out, but I still think it's Anderson.
  6. It's probably safe to make these assumptions: This committed recruit is not a purchased recruit Gerry wouldn't float this if it was DeAnthony Gatson or equivalent It's at a position where we would accept a commitment (why would Gerry say anything if it was a RB?) It's a relatively long list of possibilities WR: Hudson, Caleb Burton, CJ Williams, maybe LSU commit Aaron Anderson? TE: Staes, Llewelyn, Tommy McIntosh OT: Banks, Campbell, Booker, Sexton, Fitzpatrick, Cam Williams DB: Domani Jackson, Brooks, Laterrance Welch, Jaedan Gould, Anderson, Hullaby LB: Tuihalamaka, Cheeks, TJ Dudley, Kip Lewis Hoping for one of the tackles, will settle for one of the DBs, but it's probably a DL because we're full there and can't have nice things.
  7. Who, Anderson? Other contingencies? That's either an incomplete list or Gerry is full of shit
  8. Yes, this exactly. Joe Brady was handed to him by Sean Payton. Orgeron has done nothing positive for swamp aggy and he'll leave the program worse than he found it. Which, frankly seemed impossible.
  9. When I lived in Center City Philadelphia, I was around the corner from two filming locations for an NBC pilot. They parked the actor trailers in front of our walkup and no one had any idea what the show was, who was in it, etc. On day 1 of active filming they posted the name of the actors and the working title for the pilot on the door of the trailers. Jimmy Smits Working Title: "Rough Justice" .....which became the short lived courtroom drama "Outlaws". Rough Justice is clearly a terrible name for anything other than a chokehold buttfuck, but is a useful descriptor. Also, Carly Pope is shockingly attractive irl.
  10. Came here to say this. Not really a late riser. Just a guy that will emerge from the wreckage that was the 2020 evaluation period.
