  1. Did anyone get a screenshot of Paul Hornung and Mike Garrett to the left of Joe during his speech? Classic.
  2. If you consider the national perception of Big 12 defenses (which is viewed as a spread passing conference), compared to the perception of the defenses Taylor faced (plus the BS that previous seasons affect bias) is this that much of a surprise?
  3. You might get your wish if he comes out on the field round and sprinkled with chocolate chips.
  4. Grab your popcorn guys, LSU wins this one comfortably.
  5. Tell that to the 2017 Auburn team (who beat two of the playoff teams that season) who had its hands full with UCF or 2015 Florida State team who had their fill of Houston. Teams can only play whoever is on their schedule and you can't fault many of those programs if many of the P5s avoid scheduling them, which many do. Also, keep in mind that the P5/G5 divide is artificial (man made) in that it was a direct result of CFB being hijacked rigged and now controlled by the P5 conferences so they wouldn't have to share the $ with the other conferences, not as a result of merit. Had that not taken place and had we had a true playoff in place, then there would be alot more parity among programs and conferences and you'd see a much bigger field of contenders each season and less disparity in talent and coaching among programs, making CFB much more interesting then the 10-15 team beauty contest we have now.
  6. If you look at it objectively, LSU played a tougher schedule, and looked more impressive on Saturday. That was the difference.
  7. Use SOS for seeding. The tougher you schedule, the higher you are seeded.
  8. I'm looking at going to this game too. Hoping to find tickets under $50.
  9. Especially if you use the regular season for seeding.
  10. 2014 TCU was deserving. 8 would atleast allow for a more objective champion by allowing more of the top teams to separate themselves from each other on the field of play. It's entirely possible in this rigged system, and impossible in a legitimate system. Those against adding more teams to it are generally fans of bluebloods who the system is rigged in favor of.
  11. Option 1: take top 8 teams based on the original BCS formula taking into consideration (with emphasis), SOS and MOV Option 2: All P5 conf champs, top G5 and 2 wildcards. Require a 2 loss maximum. If a conference champ has more than 2 losses, they are replaced with a 2 loss or better wild-card. In both scenarios, use SOS and MOV to help determine seeding, so that teams are incentivized to schedule tougher OOC opponents. If we did this with 12 teams. the top 4 teams would start out with a bye.
  12. This, I knew it was connected with the 2013 season. Just wasn't sure if it was a December or January game.
  13. Less and less of them are getting married that young, but you are correct.
  14. That was in 2013.
  15. Jerry Garcia agrees...
  16. You say that because its rigged in favor of blueblood programs like yours.
  17. You obviously haven't been on the BYU campus. The hotest talent in the state is down in Provo and it's not even close. Talent with brains. since it takes basically a 3.9 GPA to get in to the Y.
  18. This one should be fun to watch. LSU will be in control of this game and finally we get to see an outmatched OU team get taken behind the woodshed.
  19. I think Clemson wins by 2 scores or more.
  20. OSU finally going to face a real offense.
  21. You'll hear less bitching about #9 getting left out then #5 getting left out.
  22. Told ya! LSU is #1 tOSU #2
  23. 8 teams with automatic births using a seeding process based on the BCS formula that includes both SOS and MOV (with greater weight given to SOS) to encourage teams to schedule better games OOC. This would preserve and I would say increase the intrigue and interest in the regular season.
