Normally I would crack a joke or say something about the fiancee, would, etc. But this is just tragic. To think of what he had and lost and to think of her loss as well and that of both of their families.

there's a reason why STI/STDs are on the rise with old folks.
Ewe, not you just put visions of wrinkly old genitalia with discharges in my mind. I did not need that visual before my chicken fried steak (with country gravy) lunch.

Kind of makes me glad I went to a school with no fraternity system to encourage hazing.

Honestly, I've always felt a little queasy about the NCAA doling out punishments in criminal cases. It is--or at least should be--way beyond their scope, and they don't have the resources or the competence to investigate and sentence appropriately. Plus, it feels so incredibly surreal and trivial to be discussing loss of scholarships and postseason bans for rape, abuse, and assault.
Conversely, I do understand the argument that football is the only thing that these twisted fucks care about, so the only thing that may actually change behavior is taking away wins.
Or... taking away their program.

This 150 list has no credibility if they left out Jim MacMahon or Ty Detmer. Both rewrote the books with records that lasted for years.

But if LSU's defense clamps down on Clemson's offense or atleast slows them down, then it will either be a low scoring game or LSU wins handily.

This is minor compare to how it will be tonight if LSU wins. It will get personal and in your face. If you're a Clemson fan and you don't prevail, take my advice, just put your gear back in the room and head over to Mandeville (Dakota Restaurant) or Metairie (Drago's) for the char-grilled oyesters. If anyone asks, you're from Houston.
Trust me on this.
A game in Baton Rouge is on my bucket list. I wore my BYU gear to the LSU vs Miami game last year and the LSU fans were nothing but gracious to me.
-
This game will be decided by how the LSU defense fares against the Clemson offense, because if the playing field for this game is leveled by LSU losing its offensive advantage with Clemson scoring with as much ease as LSU, Clemson has the edge with coaching and defense.

I love how you backed this up with relevant data.
I can if you'd like.

In no world is the PAC taking four subpar academic institutions that are second tier athletically, academically, and in terms of brand/alum reach in their own states, let alone nationally. That'd do nothing for them in terms of national relevance while watering down the academic/cultural brand that they do seem to value. Especially with one having the added private religious school angle. If Texas and OU wanted to go west I'm sure they'd get to bring some partners, but those four aren't getting picked up on their own.
Also, from what I understand about the admin at the Oklahoma schools, they aren't separating.

This. They would have added BYU already had it not been for the Pac-12's anti-religious bigotry. If they didn't add BYU, they certainly aren't adding TCU, Baylor or even Notre Dame.

You have no idea what you're talking about.
It'll be 60-40 LSU at a minimum.
This. There's no way those Cajuns don't take over and turn this into a defacto home game. They did that for our game with them in 2017 on short notice and they'll definitely do that for a national championship game their corndogs are playing in.

which is fine I don't care, except the verbiage they're using to describe it isn't seeding, they're saying ranking
Yeah, well in that case, it's pure horseshiit.

I discovered a lump on my breast. But as it turns out, it was just chilly.....
Did somebody say there was a game on Monday night? Couldn't tell, seems like the season ended last week....

Clemson +6 is a gd steal. I think Clemson wins because of Etienne and their OL is excellent / underrated given other stars on team . Clemson's OL contained Chase Young very well, both OTs might be NFL stock. Clemson will score at will, Burrow may have a bad series and doesn't have the stellar running game. Even if Clemson loses, it'll be by less than 6. I'm seeing a 52-47 Clemson win.
Not against LSU's defense. That said, I do believe all the pressure is on LSU and with that it will be a closer game then most think.
11 hours ago, mulletpelini said:Why is Clemson still #3? They beat the #2 team. Even if they lose Monday they'll be #2. They will lose the game and rank up. Would we really be seeing #4 vs. #3 on all the graphics had the cocksuckers pulled an upset? Fucking stupid.
They don't re-rank teams between semi-finals. Those are actually considered the seeding #s, which is why they don't change.

There will be plenty of Clemson fans there. LSU will only have a slight edge in the number of fans.
No way does Clemson bring nearly as many fans as LSU will. It will be 65/35 in favor of LSU, atleast.

Yeah what the fuck is up with this 2 week wait? Absolutely no reason why this game should not have been played Monday night. But nope, we get some buttfuck bowl game. I have no idea why the 3 playoff games are not the last 3 games of the season. To have pointless bowl games sandwiched in between these semifinals games dilutes the semifinals games and people end up forgetting about it.
Or atleast just sandwich all (and only) of the NY6 games between the semi-final and the championship game. I like your idea, but they'd have to start the playoffs later in order to make that work, unless we expand to 8, then it would make sense.
-
Does anyone know if Clemson will be going with their all-orange uni's on Monday?
-
I'm leaning LSU because I think the native Cajun Cookie Monster bringing home a national championship would be pretty cool. Plus its been either BAMA or Clemson since 2015.

#1 Offense vs #1 Defense. Something has to give.

I love Medieval history particularly anything from the fall of Rome to the Reformation (400 to early 1500s).

BYU isn't AAU as far as I know, but Utah recently gained admission within the ranks of schools high in research as UCLA/ Arizona/ Colorado/ Kansas/ Texas, ect. ...
The top companies, the top firms, the top graduate school programs and internship programs recruit BYU before they recruit Utah. Utah is a commuter school, that will admit most applicants. BYU's law, business and finance/accounting programs are top tier above Utah's. Its like comparing Texas AM to Rice or Stanford.
BYU draws not only the brightest in that state but also some of the brightest students from around the country.
