  1. Damn, I joined shaggy during the 2010 realignment bullshit. I learned to lurk before posting, and when I found out that so many posts were needed for squirrel access, I started posting on game threads to up that post count.

I'm an old (over 50), but young'un on the boards.

Moved to surly as soon as I was given the info.

Genuinely curious- what's your solution?  The goal line does have magical properties.  See also- goal tending in basketball and rules inside the crease in hockey.

Would you have changed the call to close out the Mizzou- Auburn OT yesterday?

There was nothing to be changed in that call, Auburn recovered the Missouri fumble in the endzone.

I do agree that if the fumble had gone out of bounds in the endzone, with no recovery, then it should go back to the offense at the spot of the fumble.

Where does the fumble rule give the offense the ball if they recover it down the field? (I'm not sure on this)

  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember in the 90s, the Dallas Night Club VIP cards had to be bought by guys. Basically all they were good for was no cover charge except when they had a live band.

Women could get them without paying (obviously the hot ones).

You know how sometimes you're just kind of skimming through things and "read" words that aren't really there, and your eyes run on past, until your brain clicks in and says "Whoa!", and you have to go back just to be sure?  Just happened to me above on this - and I read it as "Need a yell leader on the team...."  I like that a lot better, and would truly love if they would try that - I'm pretty sure the well-heeled young gentlemen of the "Fish" persuasion would value that input greatly.  If possible, I'd love to see that live-streamed as well....

Why would young guys, who have been paid more than some of their older players, listen?

Yards per attempt for the game:

    Ewers 11.2

    Card 7.2

    Young 5.5

Credit to Ewers and credit to Card but especially credit to Sark.  Any guesses to what these numbers look like if the playcallers switched teams?

I get the feeling the ones that are friendly are only friendly because they won the last 2 meetings.   When the Horns start to beat them that will change.

So, like the so-called "classiest fans in CFB" nebby fans?
