  1. Pretty decent of the same four, and why does anyone want to watch UM v. 5 loss Boise and UW v. a Miami (OH) team that lost to craptastic Miami (FL) 38-3? All that's asking for is an injury to a key player for UM or UW that derails their playoff chances. Not to mention, why anyone has to watch UGA v. Ole Miss again after UGA beat them 52-17. And, congrats tOSU for beating PSU in that 20-12 snooze fest, now go do that again. That punishes tOSU and America's football viewing community.
  2. It kind of reminds me of this, if he would've passed an Ocean Spray building and it exploded.
  3. I never had a problem. So glad back in 1998 I switched from a Motorola to PrimeCo phone.
  4. Solar flare, huh? I thought they'd go with swamp gas from a weather balloon that was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.
  5. Calling quarterbacks drafted in the 7th round "busts" is certainly an opinion.
  6. Not sure why you're just going off of yardage, but if so, I'd say you're giving me Klingler and Shuler, as well. Both drafted higher than Leinart and having fewer passing yards. I have no problem with the opinion Leinart is a bigger bust than Harrington. However, one of them was drafted #3 and one was drafted #10. One of them sat behind a Hall of Fame quarterback for 4 years while the other played because he was the best of poor options. Both played 6 years. Both played 4 years with the team that drafted them. Both played one season with two different teams to end their careers. Career QB ratings: 70.2 v. 69.4
  7. I'm not a fan of Leinart or anything, but off the top of my head it seems like Heath Shuler, David Klingler, Andre Ware and Joey Harrington may be bigger busts than Leinart.
  8. If she doesn’t really appreciate clever lyrics, does she really appreciate clever nickname?
  9. WASHINGTON — Lawsuits seeking to hold Donald Trump personally accountable for his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol can move forward after the former president chose not to take his broad immunity claim to the Supreme Court. Trump had a Thursday deadline to file a petition at the Supreme Court contesting an appeals court decision from December that rejected his immunity arguments, but he did not do so. The appeals court made it clear that Trump could still claim immunity later in the proceedings in three cases brought by Capitol Police officers and members of Congress. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-court/trump-opts-supreme-court-appeal-immunity-claim-police-jan-6-lawsuits-rcna138869
  10. Yeah, Andy Reid called plays and won back to back Super Bowls. Let us know when ol Andy calls plays and wins even one SEC Championship.
  11. Jesus. He explained after the game how he met with the analytics staff before the playoffs to figure out what to do if they got into overtime in the playoffs. There have been countless articles explaining it. The fact the information was out immediately after the game and is in print all over the place and you somehow decide in your head that Shanahan didn’t know the rules is really an incredible accomplishment. I don’t expect you to actually read and understand, but here you go: "It's just something we talked about," Shanahan said in his postgame news conference. "None of us have a ton of experience with [the new overtime rules]. But we went through all the analytics and talked to those guys. We just thought it would be better. We wanted the ball third. If both teams matched and scored, we wanted to be the ones who had the chance to go win. So got that field goal, so knew we had to hold them to at least a field goal and if we did, we thought it was in our hands after that." https://vms.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2024-super-bowl-49ers-kyle-shanahan-explains-decision-to-take-the-ball-first-to-start-overtime-vs-chiefs/ Here’s another: https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/02/12/super-bowl-overtime-kyle-shanahan/ You and any other folks claiming there is a right or wrong decision are just simply ignoring the facts. Which sums up my point. The internet allows dumbshits to spread their stupidity to other dumbshits and nod their heads in affirmation thinking they’re right.
  12. This is a prime exhibit of why the internet is bad dumb people. They read dumb shit from multiple other morons and piece it together to create absolutely supreme stupidity to spread outside of their near empty heads.
  13. It's not the long, flowing dress that you're in Or the light coming off of your skin The fragile heart you protected for so long Or the mercy in your sense of right and wrong It's not your hands searching slow in the dark Or your nails leaving love's watermark It's not the way you talk me off the roof Your questions like directions to the truth It's knowing I can't stand you and need a divorce Like, you should leave or I'll remove you with light force Maybe we'll get forty more seconds together But then you better be gone Real quick like, or you'll be really gone
  14. If the Niners could’ve held the Chiefs to a FG, the next score wins. So, Niners get the ball and drive down for an another FG and they win 25-22. Then people are calling Shanahan smart for planning it out that way with his analytics team.
  15. The coaching staff clearly made the wrong choice because they lost. Not sure I agree with your police work there, Lou. Shanahan understands the rules and explained the preparation and rationale in the decision. According the Mahomes, Hardeman didn’t know the rules and yet somehow managed to play offense and catch the game winning pass. Too many simpletons adopt the rating seeking rants of “media” personalities.
  16. Talking heads always need things to talk about, and this 49ers OT thing looks like one of those classic overblown stories. It starts with two players flippantly saying they didn't know the rule and turns into "Kyle Shanahan failed to prepare his team so they lost in OT." Can someone explain to me how Arik Armstead would play differently if he "knew the rule"? Did he let the Chiefs score a TD because he thought it'd help the 49ers win? Did he play with hesitation not knowing the rule and thinking maybe the defenses goal was to not stop the offense? I'm pretty positive after the Patriots-Falcons Super Bowl a Patriots player said he didn't know the overtime rule, but I can't find it after a quick search. But, there is this. I guess Mecole probably slept through all the meetings the Chiefs had on it. “Can I tell a quick funny story? I threw a touchdown to this dude to end the game, and he had no idea,” Mahomes said, with his arm around Hardman. “I said, ‘Dude, we just won the Super Bowl.’ He had no idea. He didn’t even celebrate at the beginning.” https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/mecole-hardman-didnt-know-overtime-rule-patrick-mahomes-had-to-tell-him-he-won-the-game
  17. Yeah, that's been clear for a long time. "I wrote 'Fault Lines' because I was trying to find a door or an opening into a disconnect that I was having in my marriage," Shires says. "And I thought, 'Well, we always communicate well with songs. ... Maybe this will get the door open to getting stuff solved.' So, I wrote the song and I recorded a little demo and I sent it to my husband. He did not listen to it." https://www.npr.org/2022/08/03/1114881570/on-take-it-like-a-man-amanda-shires-takes-aim-for-the-heavens
  18. I keep seeing this, but I'm not exactly sure what people are referring to regarding his "politics". From 2017: "This is by far the best country you could ever live in, and we picked these two candidates to be media whores and go out there and take care of the world, huh?" he said in September at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. He also called the election a "dumpster fire." Keith's comments echoed what he told the Chicago Tribune in August. "This election, I don't think it makes a difference," he said when asked if he knew which candidate he would vote for. "I can't believe there's 300 million Americans in this country and we've got these two as our final two. It's absolutely crazy." Not only is Keith not a fan of Trump, but he was raised a Democrat in Oklahoma and was registered with the party until 2008, when he re-registered as an independent. "I was a Democrat my whole life. They kind of disowned me when I started supporting the troops, then I went and registered independent," he told the Tribune. "I've never been a registered Republican. It just keeps people off balance. They don't know what to think." Keith would not say whether he voted for Barack Obama or John McCain, but when asked in 2009 if he approved of Obama, he didn't seem to have any problem with the president. "I think he's doing fine," he told CNN. "The stock market's rallied. I mean, I'll always pull for the commander in chief, whoever it is. Clinton, Bush—I always pulled for those guys because I want to live in a country that's functional. I don't want to live in a country that's on the skids. So it doesn't matter if it's a Democrat, independent, Republican or just a citizen who's running for president. If they're doing a good job, let 'em do a good job. So far, so good. All of them will have their ups and downs." In 2008, he told The Washington Post that he voted for Clinton twice and twice for George W. Bush as well. "I didn't care for Gore or Kerry," he said. https://www.newsweek.com/toby-keith-not-trump-supporter-544205
