  1. Yeah, that's been clear for a long time. "I wrote 'Fault Lines' because I was trying to find a door or an opening into a disconnect that I was having in my marriage," Shires says. "And I thought, 'Well, we always communicate well with songs. ... Maybe this will get the door open to getting stuff solved.' So, I wrote the song and I recorded a little demo and I sent it to my husband. He did not listen to it." https://www.npr.org/2022/08/03/1114881570/on-take-it-like-a-man-amanda-shires-takes-aim-for-the-heavens
  2. I hate to interrupt, but I'm not sure if the Supreme Court oral argument link goes here or Movies and TV. https://www.supremecourt.gov/oral_arguments/live.aspx
  3. I keep seeing this, but I'm not exactly sure what people are referring to regarding his "politics". From 2017: "This is by far the best country you could ever live in, and we picked these two candidates to be media whores and go out there and take care of the world, huh?" he said in September at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. He also called the election a "dumpster fire." Keith's comments echoed what he told the Chicago Tribune in August. "This election, I don't think it makes a difference," he said when asked if he knew which candidate he would vote for. "I can't believe there's 300 million Americans in this country and we've got these two as our final two. It's absolutely crazy." Not only is Keith not a fan of Trump, but he was raised a Democrat in Oklahoma and was registered with the party until 2008, when he re-registered as an independent. "I was a Democrat my whole life. They kind of disowned me when I started supporting the troops, then I went and registered independent," he told the Tribune. "I've never been a registered Republican. It just keeps people off balance. They don't know what to think." Keith would not say whether he voted for Barack Obama or John McCain, but when asked in 2009 if he approved of Obama, he didn't seem to have any problem with the president. "I think he's doing fine," he told CNN. "The stock market's rallied. I mean, I'll always pull for the commander in chief, whoever it is. Clinton, Bush—I always pulled for those guys because I want to live in a country that's functional. I don't want to live in a country that's on the skids. So it doesn't matter if it's a Democrat, independent, Republican or just a citizen who's running for president. If they're doing a good job, let 'em do a good job. So far, so good. All of them will have their ups and downs." In 2008, he told The Washington Post that he voted for Clinton twice and twice for George W. Bush as well. "I didn't care for Gore or Kerry," he said. https://www.newsweek.com/toby-keith-not-trump-supporter-544205
  4. Gonna give that sluttiness a good listen are you? I can dig it.
  5. I like imagine the driver yelling "SPEEDWAY!!!!!! in a Leroy Jenkins manner
  6. Hopefully you didn't have to step barefoot on Legos
  7. Along with the eye contact, you should've taken your shirt off.
  8. Unrelated to the campaign? Have you somehow not been made aware of the “ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!”? Maybe Trump should use a larger font on the all caps and more exclamation points. People obviously aren’t getting the message.
  9. Yeah, exactly. When the Bucs played the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, no one on the team even realized they were playing at Raymond James Stadium. I field mic even caught Tom Brady saying, "This is one of the nicer Super Bowl stadiums in which I've played. It'd be cool if I could play here again sometime. Even the travel was really easy. I don't even remember the flight to get here."
  10. Habba’s newest claim of a conflict of interest because the judge and Carroll’s lawyer worked at the same firm a couple decades ago is the kind of thing that MAGA base eats up and normal lawyers roll their eyes. She can’t even cite the judicial code relevantly. Also, if they didn’t know the complete history of the judge and opposing counsel long ago, they’re even worse at this law thing than it appears. My guess is they already knew the history, knew they’d get their ass kicked, and then could act like this is “relationship” is new information they learned is a conflict the base would bleed on about.
  11. It's almost like Seinfeld being offended by the anti-dentite's jokes, but mostly as a comedian.
  12. What's so funny about these, is he just rambles about with no guardrails or identification of which civil case, criminal case, or person he is chattering about. Then he just randomly throws in the excitable "how can this be happening" or "this is so wrong" or "this doesn't happen to anyone but me" with no actual knowledge of facts or evidence. Sort of comically, unfortunately, there are some constant posts here randomly exclaiming about Trump's court cases "how can this be happening" or "this is so wrong" or "no else else gets away with this" with no actual knowledge of facts or evidence. I wish those posts could be done in video also. Could be pretty entertaining.
  13. Damn. He missed the first collision, but was smashed by the second one. Hope he's okay.
  14. Look, you just have to understand that everyone knows who is guilty and who is not and the lawyers just screw it all up with the Constitution and ethics and stuff. The non-lawyers should just be able to post about how clear everything is on a centralized message board so the criminal can go straight from booking to prison or lethal injection or set free after fingerprinting. The non-lawyers are really the only ones who see through the bullshit and get it right. You see people released from prison decades after the lawyers and judges wrongfully convict. If we're not going to do the centralized message board thing, we should at least let some reasonable number of non-lawyers listen to the actual evidence and decide guilty or not guilty. That way the correct decision will always be made and innocent people won't spend decades behind bars.
  15. Getting to chuckle again at an old thread when someone reps a years old post.
  16. Yeah, I remember Springsteen wrote a song about Moore. In '95 tits were bouncing high at my high school There was a lot of tights worn by blacks and whites There was nothing the whores wouldn’t do Two guys at a light on a Saturday night In the back seat there was a slut Words were passed, a cockgun blast Troubled times for her butt, came to my hometown To my hometown My hometown To my hometown
  17. You know, these Harbaugh/Herbert posts got me thinking. I'm thinking Andy Reid retires after this playoff run. Lincoln Riley is NFL desperate, and I think the Chiefs hire him after he explains his vision. He can't get Caleb Williams at their draft position, but I think he should trade Mahomes and draft Spencer Rattler in the first round. Maybe use the three 3rd rounders he gets for that Mahomes guy to draft Brendon Rice, MarShawn Lloyd and Tahj Washington. Yeah. I think that's the smart play here to get the Chiefs offense on track for years to come.
