  1. I don't see Penix, McCarthy, or Nix as first round talents. But, it only takes one team and wouldn't be surprised by any of them going in the first as teams love to have a QB on the 5th year option. I'd say my eyebrows would raise the most if Nix went in the first.
  2. Say what you will about Fisher, but he knows how to shut down an offense. Bottled up VY pretty well.
  3. Pizzaria Bianco downtown location opens at 11:00. On a Saturday, what kind of line is there at the door waiting for open? What time are people getting in line to get in the door at open?
  4. Bob has $4,300,000,000 reasons to stay alive. He'll be doing sit ups in his driveway in no time.
  5. I'm not sure what you think I'm exaggerating or what point you're trying to make, but I'm well aware of the limitations on collecting judgments. I don't see anywhere that I suggested OJ's homestead or retirement exemptions should be ignored and executed upon. The entire point is this isn't some novel Trump gaming the system situation. It's a common every day event. You can get civil judgments all day long and you have a piece of paper. That doesn't mean you're going to get your money. It's the same if the Defendant owing the judgment is Trump, Jones, Simpson, or Joe Smith with a net worth of $18,000.
  6. If they do it right, TG3 will pick up right at the end of TG2. Maverick and Jennifer Connelly lovingly cruising through the air in the P-51 when all of sudden 3 Sukhoi Su-57 appear and cruise has to take them out with a rubber band and only 2 paper clips. Sadly, Jennifer falls from the P-51 during one of Maverick's crazy maneuvers and he has to watch her fall like Stallone watching that gal fall at the beginning of Cliffhanger, which works out well as Stallone is the hard ass Navy brass that gives orders to Maverick that Maverick ignores while he seeks revenge. Throw in Maverick's internal need to raise Jennifer's daughter means he must survive the un-survivable mission to kill the men who caused Jennifer's death while also needing to get back stateside within 48 hours to be best man at Rooster and Hangman's wedding.
  7. In 1997 the family of Ron Goldman won a judgment for $33,500,000.00 against O.J. Simpson. The most recent article I found from a year ago, OJ had paid $133,000.00 and due to interest the amount owed was $96,000,000.00. That's one example. Collecting civil judgments isn't just hard to do against Trump and Alex Jones. It's the same trying to collect against "normal" people, too.
  8. Could be fun. Don't have to worry about your meals, or what you're going to do Saturday night. And, they do shows. Yeah, they put on shows - maybe "Bye Bye Birdie" or "My Fair Lady". She could be Liza Doolittle.
  9. The amount of time arguing about how BB is only good because of Brady is absurd. What's Bill Walsh's record with Montana? How many Super Bowls did Chuck Noll win without Bradshaw? Put Brady on the Browns out of Michigan and how many Super Bowls does he win? It's easy to say Brady would be great anywhere. It's also foolish. NFL is littered with talented QBs that could win in the right situation that never get the chance to be winners because of where they're drafted. The Patriots won, and lost, Super Bowls by the tiniest of margins on some 50/50 plays. End of game FGs. Helmet catch. Manningham catch. Butler interception. Is Brady looked at differently if he's 5-5 in Super Bowls instead of 7-3? 4-6? How many Super Bowls did Jimmy win without Aikman and Emmitt? Jimmy was 36-29 in Miami. 2-3 in the playoffs. IIRC, last seen getting absolutely boat raced by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the playoffs. Anyone who doesn't think BB is one of the absolute best defensive coaches and best head coaches in football history is suspect. Great coaches and great players somehow seem to win together.
  10. Exactly. And, if he tries to shut it down the wife will just hit him with: I have a dream that one day, on the hills of Punxsutawney, the groundhog will not see his shadow and we'll have an early spring. Reminding us all that felonious cousin #1 was sprung from prison early. I have a dream that one day on Easter Sunday, all three of my felonious cousins will sleep at our house where they will not be judged by their rap sheets, but by the content of rehabilitated hearts. I have a dream that one day out by the shop, with the felons lips dripping with the nectar of beer and whiskey, will join hands with the non-felons. I have a dream today. I have a dream that come February all tree felons shall be exalted, every probation violation be made clear, the rough prison tattoos made plain, and their crookedness be made straight, and the drunken bitterness of their Father shall be relieved, and all flesh shall see it together.
  11. She should sell "I went to DC on January 6 to MAGA up the place and all I got was this lousy ankle bracelet" t-shirts.
  12. I hope you responded immediately with only "* you're"
  13. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/38802030/oklahoma-state-coach-mike-gundy-barry-switzer-bob-stoops-end-bedlam Been a lot of posts around here expecting OSU to blast aggy. I have the same hope. But, aggy may only have 55 players, and OSU settled on a QB and Gordon after early season struggles, but those blowout losses to 6-6 South Alabama and 6-6 UCF still happened. OSU is in that no win situation of supposed to win so do so and no one cares, but lose to depleted aggy and it's a disaster.
  14. BAH GAWD!! THAT'S BILLY JOEL'S MUSIC!!!
  15. Apparently. And with this news, I have now committed to Sydney Sweeney.
  16. That defense had more holes than Swiss.
  17. His initial recruitment was a long road, but the portal trip has been pretty smooth. Just need to avoid any potholes this week.
  18. Possible that Riley convinced the Chargers to hire him?
