  1. For the record, I have not bought or sold any SMCI shares, options or anything else - so it wasn't me! just sayin'
  2. Market warning - today I cancelled my first sale order on the 6/21/24 options, as they are up about 300%, so that would have covered the cost of all of the options for that expiry; and I am going to see if this continues to run for a little bit more. These are in a prime spot of still time to run ahead of the trend, at they are "only" about $6 ITM but are priced at $22.50, vega is my friend right now, but theta is a cold hearted bitch that will eat those prices the close I get to expiration date. I feel like there is a 60-90 day window to sell when pricing peaks, before time eats back to the midline.
  3. Just saw that this is not a no-cut event, top 50 plus anyone within 10 strokes, maybe the Friday excitement will be if Tiger has to grind today to make the cut? Not that the broadcasters would hype on that. Jason Day at -10, that would make the cut at even which right now is 53 players. Interesting, I think it is like the Masters.
  4. 4U going against the rising uranaium pricing tides. this and AMYZF are my remaining sinking stonks, sinking my portfolio and my dreams this was much more fun when ALPP was a rising star, but those days and that money is now all gone......I wonder what it would take to get @RCRanger03 back to find another gem or 2 for the lonely losers here?
  5. Had a discussion a couple of days ago with my brother - he follows this way more than me, as he was a HS girls coach, and we both agreed that Iowa, while not trying to lose to Nebraska on Sunday, tried not to have Clark score the points in the Sunday game but rather when they were playing a home game.
  6. you forgot to include the global implementation of said legislative restrictions; and the ability to enforce those who do not follow the rules. And a manual backdoor to pull the plug and inactivate AI from spreading. When do we thing the real life August 29, 1997 will take place?
  7. Had a notice pop up and it says season 2 to be released this fall. I hope it is with the 2 year wait
  8. Scottie -3 after 2 holes, so what is that a 45 alert? I'm going to back of and start the 54 alert !!! Jinxing Jinxer Justifiably Jinxes
  9. my quick math is that 22.5 hours is about 1 light day, so yeah just under 1/365 of a light year. So 1 light day, is about 50 years at max sustainable human speed (historically speaking) Sadly, Starman is in orbit and was not on an escape trajectory
  10. honey? - sounds like something a serial cereal killer would do
  11. lol - take my $9.95, I want to subscribe to your newsletter
  12. I thought you always want to play defense first, then you know what you have to do the win or to tie. If KC had the ball first, and they score then Shanahan doesn't kick the shorty FG in OT; and KC doesn't know that they have 4 downs every series to get the first because it is score of go home. But then what would I know - growing up as a Lions fan, and then becoming an Oilers fan (fuck Bud Adams) after college.
  13. RIP Carl for the win - well done 👍
  14. My only comment is I would be a little concerned working with someone related to the bolded comment. Do you know how this investment would have performed if the indexes did not go up, is it a leveraged investment, do you know how much commission she gets from these complicated structured investments. Don't be lulled to sleep because it worked this time. As the famous money manager Ron Burgundy said - 60% of the time it works every time.
  15. OP - how about an update, there are lots of recommendations here, some better than others. I didn't read them all, but I have a question - how much are you contributing to your 401k, can you reduce it (temporarily) to only getting the maximum match amount (always max out the max - nothing beats "free" money). Pay down the debt, then take the payments (plus what you were in debt) and increase you 401k contribution to the max allowed. Also, if you can qualify for a 0% balance transfer to another card, I would do that at the same time - it will cost you about 4% of the transfer balance, which isn't great but beats paying almost 30% interest. But you have to find a solution that works for you, that you can manage financially, emotionally, and with support and agreement with your spouse. I think there is value in Dave Ramsey, and the living a less expensive life and being debt free; but if you are reasonably good at maintaining your finance why not keep cheap debt and let your money earn for you. Right now I have 3 outstanding debts, home loan 3.75%, car loan 4.15% and a nominal balance on a 0% CC - I could pay them all off from my emergency cash account but that is earning 5.2%, so why lose money on the paying off cheap debt. This debt will all be paid off before I retire, and it isn't affecting my life style. Good luck with your journey Poko
  16. nailed it Potgieter shoots a 59 today, same course, and he did it with a bogey. Cole goes 62-67 to get to T5
  17. This ride up sure is fun - but remember the ride hasn't ended. Please keep your hands and feet fully inside the car. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  18. I don't know, I knew a guy (let's call him George) in the early 90's, worked as a consultant for an Environmental consulting firm I was at for about a year. He was hard to reach, cell phones weren't really out and no home phone at his apartment, he said he was Army Ranger who had served in Nam (red flag....just wait), son was a Navy Seal, George would stop in the office a couple of times a week to see if we needed him for any work, sometimes we did, sometimes not. But he did have a pager, so we asked him if we could page him when we had work for him. His answer was that it really wasn't his pager, after some badgering he said it was a DoD pager. A few months later George told us he wasn't available to work for a few months, that he had been called up to go back into the military. I saw him for the last time about mid-1991, he was just back from Desert Storm and his story was that he was part of an insertion team that went into Iraq (he wouldn't say where) and that their job was to laser paint targets for the bombs/missile that were coming in. I have not idea what ever became of George, but he'd have to be about 80+ by now, it could all been a hoax, but I believed him. Very interesting guy, very rough around the edges, but seemed like straight shooter if you were straight with him.
  19. Holey Shit - I just realized that this is gonna end up just like TxTow posting shit about rock throwers. Nicole - thanks for the updates, and we look forward to your trial
