2nd degree?
What does it take to be 1st degree murder?
I mean he bought a gun just for this purpose, that kinda shows (at least to me) it was premeditated. No remorse. Just leave dude, you aren't winning because you are the last one standing. People are the fucking worst. -
Fucking Duke -

Throw Jackie Robinson into the discussion - baseball, football, basketball & track at UCLA, although he was not a star on the baseball team.
Perhaps you've heard of him?-

1988-1992 this motherfucker is what we drove around in. Probably my favorite suburban my dad ever owned. Only model of vehicle he drove my entire life.
Burbs are a fucking tank; one of the best vehicles I ever owned. This is as close of a photo I can find to my 1999 GMC Suburban
I had to look real close, because this is almost exactly the end of life photo when idiot son #1 (IS#1) finally killed it.
boring story spoiler alert
I felt bad because it only had 287,000+ miles on it. A year earlier IS#1 had been out with some buddies, likely drunk or high (or both), they were quading behind a buddies house and he thought he'd take the Burb through the trail, and he rolled it. Well almost rolled it, except it rolled into a tree on the drivers side and they were able to take straps and pull it back onto the wheels. The drivers side passenger window would only roll up to about 1" shy of closing, so gorilla tape sealed it, and the windshield roofline seal was shit so several coats of bedliner were applied to stop that from leaking.
But the death knell was when he missed a turn and sheered off a 4' diameter tree, but destroyed the passenger side headlight, grill, front quarter panel and some suspension. He claimed the steering locked up, however he was able to get it off the lawn that it ended up on so maybe the tree freed up the steering problem.
(I'm glad I found this photo, as I'm keeping it as a memory of some of the stupid shit that boy did) -

Phil is pretty pissed he couldn’t convince Paul to play out

Yeah, I get Phil wanting to play, but Paul has much more on the line as he could get to sole 2nd, and he & his partner have a 1 stroke lead in the Pro-Am event.
Phil was just hoping to catch his flight out, rather than extending his stay.
If they close the course until the event is finished (not sure how the settle the Pro-Am if there is a tie, or if Phil throws a couple in the ocean and ends up tied), then the people who had tee times this morning are really screwed. -
Confusing thread title

Grammar, how does it work??? -
Looks like that $500 million dollar settlement might only be the first tranche of damages for MSU.
There were about 330 women who were part of the settlement, now an additional 160 million women may have claims that are not covered by the terms of that settlement. Of that $500 million, $425 was designated for the first group and $75 for victims who would later come forward.
That would average out to $1.2 million for each in the first group, and $400,000 for the later. I'm thinking that their lawyers might not think that is an equitable amount. -

Not too bad, gonna get a little breezy here tonight, but as Burt said it's just winter.
I hate that the national weather media decided to name storms and creates a frenzy with weather, and some techie created a map that you can highlight an area and it determines that 11.4 bazillion people who live there will be affected by storm system Gacy/Dahmer/Lecter/Aggy.Quote...Rain showers today will quickly change to snow showers
this evening. Wet roads will quickly freeze by late this
evening. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches expected,
highest amounts toward Lake Michigan. Snow and blowing snow
will become likely overnight. Winds gusting as high as 45 mphWhen I was a kid, storms weren't a big deal until the National Guard had to be called out. It happened twice that I can remember, when highways became unpassable and cars were stuck. They would roll out in deuce and half's, throw people in the back and take them to a shelter

We somehow ended up with this. Yes it was yellow and I had to ride in the rear-facing seat.
had to?
HAD to?My cousins had a station wagon & everybody wanted to ride in the rear facing seat. Better view, and further away from Uncle Stas, so he couldn't hit you when you were acting up.
You were riding in luxury and you didn't even know it, who cares about safety and things like that {smdh}

1976- The 1976 swine flu outbreak begins at Fort Dix, NJ. It leads to a massive immunization program which would lead to the vaccination of approximately 25% of the US population.
Oh such fond memories - I remember going with a bunch of my buddies to get our vaccine There had been some reports of a few people having bad reactions. So we go stand in line, about 10-12 of us, and we get our shots (air gun instead of needles) and as we walk out the door we all start to acting up - we are moaning, coughing and fake puking. People started to get out of line, which may have saved a life or two. Then in our infinite wisdom we went off to play some pickup football.
My arm hurt like a bitch the next day, where I had gotten my vaccine - not from the shot but from all of us hitting each other in the bicep/shoulder area while playing football.tl:dr - stupid kids doing stupid things, but we survived

Apparently he took those vows very seriously
at least the "til death do us part"
with good behavior and time served, he could be out in what 10 years. although that not getting a divorce comment isn't going to help him in front of the parole baord
