  1. She should do some personal appearances during the break in the WNBA schedule, and likely make more than her salary in the league. At this point there is no way that adding her to the team would be anything but a huge distraction. Long term this plays out well for her, by her not calling out the bias and saying all the right things to the media about supporting Team USA and the Olympics, and hoping to make the team in a future year.
  2. Here is a course flyover - I've watched about the first 6 minutes and the green complex with flow that they show presents that anything within a few feet of the edge of a green track off the green. https://www.usopen.com/2024/videos/features/06/06/2024-u-s--open--pinehurst-no--2-course-flyover-6354433152112.html?__hstc=230596675.0603d442c8172cb9e426af0ed6579e08.1718118116332.1718118116332.1718135022994.2&__hssc=230596675.1.1718135022994&__hsfp=3523199817
  3. this looks like a fun course
  4. Well that settles it - I won't be voting for Hunter Biden come this November
  5. don't argue amongst ourselves about intercity petty disputes - instead focus on the bigger picture. FUCK that list and whoever put it together (and their mother)
  6. And just seeing that tee times are posted - https://www.usopen.com/2024/tee-times.html Scottie is with Rory & Xander at 1:14 on Thursday (thinking that might just be one of the featured groups) Defending champion Wyndham Clark with with Brian Harman and Nick Dunlap @ 1:25 of interest Jordan, Rahm, Hideki @ 1:36 Tiger, Zalatoris, Matty Fitz @7:29 (off #10) - finally someone gets Tigers limitations and has him going early/late JT, Brooks, Morikawa are at 7:40 (off #1) find your favorites at the link above
  7. looking at the usga site - featured group coverage is available on usopen.com and the USGA app. I am hoping they have a good site/app - thinking like the British Open, because nothing compares to what they've done with the Masters site/app
  8. I thought with the mention of $400,000,000 it was a current statement
  9. Looks li Sounds like someone has buyers/sellers remorse. Rahm might be the first to come back to the Tour full time, though I'm sure there is a clawback clause from LIV/PIF on the 9 digit investment in getting Jon on their tour.
  10. You are right - I think that is the number of players in through exemptions, so it excludes players who go through qualifiers
  11. The field is set at 84 - Adam Scott gets in (ranked 61 in OWGR, but Grayson Murray is 59 and dropped from the list), Sergio is in as 1 of 4 qualifying alternates who made it in on spots reserved for the last week and nobody else qualified from last weeks events) Field - https://www.usopen.com/players.html List of how they qualified - https://www.usopen.com/2024/articles/current-exempt-players-124th-us-open-pinehurst.html If I had to pick 4 players with the best chance to win it would be: - Scottie (and I would take Scottie in the Scottie vs. the field bet) - Xander - Morikawa - Brooks
  12. If you want the details, here is a linked google doc with a summary and then all the details of what and from whom, link is from an article on CNBC https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14l25NLvBOd9sk4mArK4k7dtV0MUwxr5GBuLHL5Sp8lo/edit?pli=1#gid=1166051249
  13. Hell - Greller needs to find a job that pays him money. Maybe he can find a good gig that is weekends only.
  14. whats up with Rickie Cruises in yesterday with a 40 on his 2nd nine, and opens today with a 45? he still plays the weekend, as this is a no-cut event
  15. It is a tough journey, I teared up reading your story and the memories it brought up of moving my parents. All I can do is tell you that there is no one right answer, and it is good that you are interactive with the facility staff as they deal with this on a daily basis. I would tell you to cherish any and all of the good moments along the way, and to tell your parents that you love them and give them a gently hug (this that is as good for you as it is for them).
  16. so is WSB on Reddit, and gambol'n sites, dating/whoring sites - and on the other side there are a ton of benefits. just like printing magazines led to porn magazines, did they curse the printing press (yes they did - Jimmy Swaggart types) Sure online speeds up the change, both the good and the bad
  17. BTW - I just went to glance at the US Open website & the first page is all about ticket sales and free entry into daily drawing for an upgrade to the 18th hole reserved grandstand. Looks to me like they have some (meaning maybe a bunch) of unsold tickets.
  18. l have decided that I don't like the new PGA Tour schedule. I have been programmed so the longest day in golf (aka US Open final qualifying) is the day after Jack's milkshake-athon at the Memorial; but now because the Memorial is the week before the Open that means it was actually 2 days ago. And I completely missed it, and now I'm too lazy to go back and see how it turned out. So I'll just look and see who is qualified, wait a week to see tee times, and then tune in to see how difficult they have made #2 (meaning do get the greens to 15?)
  19. Sorry, this is surly, not a rational soul to be found. Carry on
  20. so owning rental property should be illegal? from my experience almost all the homes around a campus, are student rentals I know several individuals who own rental homes, almost all are through an LLC; some as a side business, a couple as their main job
  21. 4 tickets a day for practice days, 2 tickets a day for tournament days. That is the max I you can request. Someone else will have to give you advice on strategy that actually works (25+ years of disappointment is what I have to offer)
  22. Taking a damned week off kills the momentum leading up to the finals. I wouldn't really care, except there is a local kid playing for the Celtics. So I will watch, just to see some of that.
